“Rick and Ashley were great hosts. Since we were arriving at Casa Familia on Christmas Eve after sundown, I was concerned that we might not have food available for that night and Christmas Day. Rick was nice enough to buy us some food we requested to make Costa Rican dishes in advance, and it turned out to be enough food for our entire three-day stay, save for some drinks and snacks at Soda El Parque. We loved the environs and feeding and watching the birds, especially the Yellow-Throated……

“This is a fabulous place to stay in Costa Rica! We wish we had another day to stay and explore more, but it was our final stop. Rick texted me to let me know we could arrive early if we wanted to (which we did!) and the place was immaculate. They have thought of every little thing you could want or need to have a relaxing stay. The beds were very comfy, they provided some welcome refreshments and maps, games, hiking gear, really everything! We saw the most birds at this stop-- toucans,……
