“We had such a wonderful stay and this was a perfect location to explore LA Fortuna and the surrounding areas. The place is in excellent condition and has everything you need. The check in and check out process was a breeze. We absolutely loved waking up to the amazing view of the volcano. Good restaurants and coffee shop within walking distance. So glad we picked this place for our first visit to Costa Rica. ”

“We had a great time staying in this location. The view of the volcano is so nice, and the yard is beautifully landscaped. Being so close to the highway, you can sometimes hear a bit of traffic, but it wasn't too bad. Having Soda La Palma next door was great! We ate there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We stayed all over Costa Rica during our 12 day trip, and one of the highlights was the chilera served with the empanadas. The garden behind the soda is beautiful and my daughter loved Balu……

“The property and grounds are amazingly beautiful. This property is set back off the main road and is next to only 1 other unit which makes it private but also very relaxing. The hosts are wonderful people and gave us excellent advice on what to do and where to go and even taught us about the trees and animals. This place is absolutely the best option in this area. ”

“This was our favorite place to stay as a family! We have 3 children (ages 11,14,16), and we loved staying in this beautiful, quaint little house in the most beautiful garden setting. It's just 30 minutes from Rio Celeste, and about an hour from Liberia airport, so it's in a great location. The family who owns this place is extremely kind and friendly, and they made us feel very welcome! The best part was the homemade delicious breakfast they made for us in the morning (complete with hot cocoa……

“Great spot to land and really get away from the majority of tourists. Local restaurants are cheaper, people are happier and it is not that far to all things Arenal. The house was great and property manager responded quickly when we had questions. Only thing is there is just one gate code, doors take a bit to get used to lock and unlock and house is 4th one on the left. But those are just minor things. ”

“This house was really a gem, well equipped and surrounded by nature. Just be SURE to rent a 4WD vehicle, as there are many steep and winding dirt roads to access the property with huge potholes and ruts. We knew about this area but if you have never been there be prepared for an off-road experience. Lots of birds and beauty make the effort worthwhile. Friendly and helpful caretakers. We had a lovely time:)”

“Our villa was beautiful. Well appointed, comfortable, and as pretty as the pictures in the listing. Diego and Andrea were very responsive, and provided prompt and thorough communication. We appreciated the detailed descriptions and videos before we arrived, and qr codes in the house to access instructions for amenities like the hot tub.
