Pleasant stay at Pleasant Point

Owner communications were great, check in was seamless and cottage was quite spacious.The only disappointment was that 4th bdrm with bunks is not how it’s presented online as a separate room. The bunks have thin mattresses, are in the utility room along with the washer, dryer, vacuum, the mop & bucket, with only a curtain over the doorway into the room itself and with no separation from the appliances, electrical panel and cleaning supplies it couldn’t even been used for the toddlers because it wasn’t safe, they could get into everything. I don’t consider that to be adult accommodations and we were unable to use it as such. So we rented a 4 bdrm advertised as able to sleep 8 adults but we could only use 3 rooms and so the others had to drive back home to sleep.The beds in the other rooms were comfortable and spacious it’s just unfortunate about the 4th bdrm not being as presented.Otherwise we enjoyed our stay with lots of deck and dock area to utilize.

Great Waterfront

The cottage had everything it said it had and more! Fishing was good, very close proximity to the lakefront which is very special. Great dock for summer swimming with a ladder and the firepit right on the dock so that you can sit right beside the water and watch it. Smart TV with no cable was my only disappointment, although most people can tap into their own netflix or whatever. Would definitely recommend this cottage to other people.

It feels like home

If you are wanting a true cottage experience this is the place to be. Clean and spacious, nicely decorated with many nooks and crannies, inside and out, to relax on your own or join in with the family fun. The lake is close to the cottage with large windows and walk-outs to enjoy the view and hear the lapping of the waves while eating a meal, relaxing in an easy chair or from a king size bed. The kitchen is well equipped, good size fridge, stove and barbeque. Many games, puzzles for old and young to keep everyone occupied on a cloudy or rainy day. Elevated play house for the little ones, canoe, kayak, swimming (lake bottom is rocky, water shoes supplied all sizes) or just relaxing and enjoying the great outdoors on the large lake dock. Lots of birds to see, loons, herons, pileated woodpeckers, cedar wax wings to name a few. The owner Priyan was quick to respond to messages and even brought by clean linens for extra weeks. An excellent time was had by all! Thank you

The cottage and the location of the cottage was excellent. As the name suggest pleasant point it was really pleasant stay for us. We were two families and we enjoyed all the amenities provided to us. The cottage was neat and clean and had everything we wanted. The host was really cooperative, approachable and willing to help. In short I would say we really enjoyed the stay and I would definitely love to visit again.
