“This was an amazing stay... the views are absolutely gorgeous. The rooms were clean and very cozy and the staff was very nice. The host was able to give amazing recommendations for our tours. Assisting us in going to oslob and moalboal. Her recommendations were amazing and we missed the hecticness of the crowds. It was almoat like paying for a private tour. They have a few restaurants near by with great food. We did rent car in city so we had transport but even for days we didnt use transport.……

“If you want to get away from it all , this is the place, this little island . “Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. The only saving grace was the staff, who were friendly and helpful, but that does not make up for the dreadful conditions. I would never stay here again. Avoid this place unless……

“Small hostel in a great location. The owners are super nice and booked our canyoneering tour for us, and rented us snorkels for our whole stay. The room was nice enough, no frills but good for what we needed. The shared bathroom was not great though, and could do with some attention.
