“We had a wonderful weekend celebrating my daughter at this beautiful log cabin lodge. It had all the comforts of home. The craftsmanship of the home was incredible. The outdoor seating vignettes were also just lovely... We also had a wonderful time at the Shamrock Winery, and listened to great Irish folk music as this was weekend before St Patrick's Day. “This was a great little spot for me to unplug for the weekend and get some writing done. It was well decorated and the bed was comfortable. However, it lacked many features I would expect, such as a toaster, coffee pot, somewhere to unpack/hang clothes, throw blankets, ice trays or even a local guide would have been helpful. Unfortunately the shower did not operate correctly and the tiny grey couch was broken during my stay. Ultimately, it served its purpose. I perhaps noticed more of these……

Thermostat kept changing itself back to a warmer temperature each day while we were gone. So we came back to a warm unit. There were ants in the kitchen that got into our dogs’ food dish.
