"Genesis was a great host! Communication was top notch the entire time from the start of the booking to check out! Property is in a central location that’s easy to access!! Keep in mind that there is quite a bit of traffic on the main road all night, but that’s much of New Orleans. Overall it was a nicely appointed house, clean, & close to 2 grocery stores. Our stay was short so we didn’t get the full experience, but I would likely stay there again if needed."

"A great location to be close to everything fun! A quiet street with a short walk to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter. Studio apartment set up worked well for our family of four - the fire escape balcony was a fun photo spot, too."

The place was beautiful, clean, welcoming, well furnished with comfy beds, well decorated, and in a great location that felt safe. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and serving. The hosts were helpful, friendly, and prompt to respond. We asked for their other listings and will be booking again when we return."

"Our group enjoyed our stay at this property. The description and pictures of the house were accurate. Our group of eight particularly liked the front sitting room where we could all sit and visit. The house is located in an historical area of Arabi and we felt safe staying there. Be aware that another apartment could be rented above your space during your stay which was the case during our stay. Voices, sounds (music) and footsteps are easily picked up on the main floor."

"This is a wonderful place. Very clean and well maintained. And the location is excellent. Pretty neighborhood with essential shops (groceries, pharmacy, etc.) nearby. The Canal St Trolley stops nearly in front of the apartment regularly although you can't count on it being on its schedule if there is a large event going on downtown. Off-street parking is tight but available. Great communication with the owner. Very responsive."

"Great property. Interior and back deck are just awesome. Area is pretty iffy but honestly didn’t matter to. Super close to everything you want to see in New Orleans. Maybe not for bachelorette parties just bc of the neighborhood."

"The house was comfortable and clean and very close to the French quarter. Could walk almost everywhere. On the down side, it wasn’t as large as the photos described and a few things were broken. The coffee pot and one of the barstools. Fortunately a kuerig was available. We were five women staying there, there were five towels but no where to hang them to dry. No hand towels in the downstairs bathroom or kitchen. Also we had issues with the lock not working. It would work fine but the next time...

"No communication with the property owner. VRBO associates was useless. Had to rent a hotel. Nothing was covered or reimbursed by VROB and the guarantee was a sham. VRBO staff was no help. Check in was 3pm; didn’t check in and had no help. We were stranded for over 12 hours in the car."
