Wonderful house with amazing views

Perfect stay in the hills above Kenwood. Spectacular views. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and outdoor grill which we used several times. We were a family of 6 having our annual holiday reunion and stayed for 8 nights. Within easy reach of restaurants and a coffee shop.

Sonoma Trip

Gorgeous house and location. Tennis court was a focus for us. Played every morning and afternoon. Brought our own equipment but there was also plenty provided. Pool was perfect temp all the time and both afforded stunning views. Really hope to return.

Words and photos can’t do this property justice! It’s really the most perfect and beautiful house and grounds with the most gorgeous views. The pool is at the perfect temperature for a hot Sonoma day and we were able to watch the moon rise sitting in the cedar hot tub. The open living space with mountains on three sides is spectacular. The indoor and outdoor kitchens are well stocked and bedrooms super comfy. Bonus: Beautiful wildlife abounds if you are into birds :)

Peaceful with Picture Perfect Views

Great views from many perspectives on the property along with the pool, tennis court and basketball hoop provided our family with exactly what we wanted. Loved the glass on three sides of the family room. Felt like you were outdoors. When we had questions, the owner was extraordinarily prompt in responding. Lovely, relaxing time for our family. Can We Go Back?

What a fantastic home! My husband, 5-month-old daughter, and I stayed here for nearly 2 weeks; it was a dream. Family and friends came out on the weekends, and we enjoyed the nearby wineries (Hamel, Coursey Graves, B. Wise) and some awesome restaurants (Golden Bear Station and Stella are new ones you shouldn't miss!). We spent nearly every morning playing tennis 3 I am so thankful to the super-responsive owner, William, for listing this home and allowing others to create new memories here.

Amazing Place, Perfect Location, Great Host!

My small business rented this place for a week for our team retreat, and it was amazing!The Place: Very well equipped, we cooked many big meals together, the internet was fast, the showers were hot, and the wood fireplace was delightful. I could go on and on, but it's essentially perfect.The Location: It's near everything in wine country, and there are a lot of wineries and restaurants a quick drive away. Very peaceful, amazing views.The Host: Very responsive and helpful!

Better than the photos

Lavender Hill was the perfect spot for a weekend reunion with a bunch of friends to celebrate a milestone birthday! The home is beautiful and has everything you need for a great stay. The panoramic views were breathtaking and our group spent the majority of our stay in the living area soaking up the beauty. We had grand plans for making more use of the sport court and would've loved to use the pool (it was too cold), but this just makes it easier to plan a return stay in the future. Thanks to the hosts for sharing their beautiful hilltop retreat to guests!

New Year’s Retreat

Our adult family of 8 had a terrific time in Kenwood. The home is very well appointed with lots of custom touches and high end sheets and towels. We love to cook and enjoyed the kitchen which has all the toys a chef will need. The grill kitchen, pickle court and hot tub were all put to use. The location is perfect with great views and proximity to all the Sonoma points of interest.

Excellent winter holiday stay

The drive in and out of the property will amaze from the start! The property is wonderfully situated a top a quiet and peaceful Sonoma mountain with fantastic views in all directions. The house is beautifully architected and great for a large group, including the guest house. Game room, hot tub, chef’s kitchen and fire places made for an excellent stay. Kenwood Winery was our fave right near the house. Host was excellent with any questions we had. Our group was super pleased!
