I'll be honest, we booked the Super 8 for a quick one night stay and expected a dive. We were pleasantly surprised! It's older, could use a few upgrades but the hotel is clean, location is really convenient, and its one of the least expensive places to stay in Ketchikan. I'd stay there again.

The main issue wasnt the hotel or the staff, it was Expedia itself Didn't recognize my visa but was able to be pushed to the hotel itself

The room had a nice view and there was some effort to clean but carpet and furniture were beat up and nothing updated for years. This is basically a residential hotel or homeless shelter and homeless people surround it as well.

Hotel needs remodeling urgently. Dirty carpets, mold smell and extremely expensive for what it has to offer. It was useful just because it was an emergency.

This was a low end hotel. It has been around for a while and could use some updates. The staff did their best to help with anything we needed. Free taxi service in town was nice. Don’t bother with the free breakfast.

We tried 3 ‘non-smoking’ rooms, but all reeked of cigarette smoke. We chose the least offensive one. There was no blanket on the bed, only a spread that also reeked of smoke. I would have called the front desk to request a blanket, but someone had stolen the cord that connects the phone to the wall. Luckily the lady at the desk had an extra blanket, which didn’t smell of cigarettes. That was the highlight of our stay. Yay.

It was a nasty I will never stay there again stuck like weed and no staff elevator was junk the worst hotel I ever stayed at tub was black just a trashy nasty place wish I could of canceled my reservation after checking the grosses place in Ketchikan by far

Elevator doors would not open at times and we were staying on the 4th floor, so we ended up walking up the stairs. The room had one towel although two of us were staying there so we had to request more. The desk chair was missing one arm. Lots of dust in the laundry room.

Wouldn’t stay at the property again. Run down property. We had booked a rom for two people with a kingsize bed and when we arrived there were no duvet and only one set of towels and only two pillows. When asking for extra pillows we were told there were no extra pillows and we also had to go down to the reception to get the blanket and towels.

Place is definitely outdated. Room didn’t have a fridge like it lists. Breakfast offering was slim-no hot foods. Front desk was helpful and shuttle availability was great. Marijuana smells in the halls.
