The location was great for bike riding, and the unit was very clean. However, there was some kind of bad odor coming from the utility room that we could not locate. Upon contacting the property managers, they would never address it. Finally saying that they would address it after we left. We ended up putting towels in front of the door to block the Oder. Therefore, we would not recommend staying at this unit.

This property has an amazing view and everything you need for your stay except a blow dryer so come prepared , balcony seating would have been nice but we brought our chairs. No A/C but that wasn't an issue unless you stayed there the whole day. No water avaible unless you want to drink from the sink. A britta pitcher in the fridge would have been nice. shower caddy looks like it wants to fall because the suction cups don't lineup with the tile right. It's just out of walking distance, I'd more say it's biking distance, but there is a bus stop right outside. All in all it was a good stay but I will say that bed is a rock to sleep on.

Great, and cheaper than the hotel

We had a hotel booked, but they cancelled our reservation at the last minute, but it sure worked out great. The apartment is clean and functional. The bed is nice. The back deck is a peaceful paradise. Some of the other reviews me too that it's dated, and maybe the bathroom is a little, but there was plentiful hot water in the shower. The underground parking is nice, and the bus into town stops right out front.

Mold on bathroom floor

Entry to dark to see lock box #. Night stands taller than bed, lights to high, get out of bed to use. Filthy floors in bathroom, toilet leaking all day and night. Not happy with this stay.

Don’t stay here

The ONLY thing we loved about this property was the view off the balcony—absolutely gorgeous. Everything else, however, was the worst. Parking was confusing and TINY. We have a RAV4 and barely fit. If you have a truck, good luck fitting. Communication with the host was non-existent—I tried multiple times to contact the host to no avail. The worst part was the room itself. Although smoking is “prohibited” here, the room reeked of cigarettes and made both my partner and I have awful headaches. The unit has no AC, and the two fans they gave us didn’t work. Not to mention the bathroom door was left closed after the cleaning staff cleaned it so when we walked into the bathroom it smelled musty and gross. VERY disappointed with this property. Save yourself time and money and book somewhere else.

The location was close to everything. It was nice sitting on balcony. The bathroom could be updated. There was nothing in room to tell you how to get to pool or jacuzzi. TV channels were limited.

Perfect for our short stay

Perfect amenities for our stay. Located along the bus line for going to the slopes, but close enough to town that we walked in each evening for dinner and shopping- granted we like to walk a lot. :) Buses run into the evening as well.

Great location and apartment for 2

Great location only a 4 minute drive to Bald Mountain with the luxury of also having a shuttle stop right in front of the building. Loved having a view of snow covered trees, made every day feel extra cozy. 4 stars because the kitchenette is quite small- the stove/oven was one of those mini sizes and the only full-size burner didn't work. We contacted Vacasa and they said it wouldn't be able to be repaired during our stay. That was pretty annoying and inconvenient because we cooked all our meals at the unit during our stay (didn't want to eat out with Covid) and having to use small burners with our full-size pans made cooking painfully slow. Also recommend bringing your own kitchen/cooking gear like we luckily did.

Adequate, but things you need to know

Understand that my comments are coming from a background of managing my own vacation rental properties and what expectations I personally have as well as the standard expected from my guests. First, you can't talk to the owner at all prior to renting the property because Vacasa is managing it and it takes 12 - 24+ hours to get your questions answered. Speaking to an owner would have been helpful as my questions related to someone who had first hand experience of the property and area. I had to do it via email and never got the most important question answered at all. You also get stuck paying 2 mgt fees when it's handled this way. 1- this property is in a good location, the view from the deck is very nice, but a table to sit your coffee would be nice, we had to use our cooler. they tell you that it's on the 2nd fl. and the parking is in the basement, but they don't tell you that there is no elevator. A deal breaker for some people and a big inconvenience for others when dragging luggage & supplies. 2-VRBO page says it has a washer/dryer. It doesn't have one in the unit. It's coin operated & in the basement which has a code on the door(which I didn't get in my TRIP MANAGER!). Now you can carry your laundry up all those steps every time as well. 3-The wi-fi code infomation provided was incorrect but we finally figured it out on our own. 4-The chain lock on the door was old and broken, door knob was loose and there was no deadbolt at all. 5-We were there when it was hot and the unit was ok during the day with the glass doors open, but at night you have no cross ventilation and it's hot even though it's cool outside. There is only one small window in the bedroom and opens on to the outdoor walkway. At night you can't leave the window open because it is right on the street and you can't sleep from the noise. A ceiling fan or window fan is badly needed. 6-If you are in the shower and the toilet is flushed or water is running elsewhere you had better move fast! 7-It says this sleeps 4. I don't know how, there is only a cot with a 2" foam pad in the closet and a person of average height will have their feet hanging off the sofa. 8-There is no icemaker in this frig even though it is full size. There isn't one in the basement either. 9-Better explanation and access to the amenities. 10-kitchen SPARSELY equipped. No corkscrew among other things. Ketchum & area are beautiful and fun place to visit. This unit could just use a little work.

very good price for the location but be aware: neighbors are heavy smokers

Renovated basic condo has everything you need for quick access to Baldy. New warm cork floors, new kitchen is small but complete (everything except for a toaster), new windows, and plenty of heat from the baseboards (it was near zero F for the 4 days we were there). The bed was lush and super comfortable. We somehow missed our checkout time during the busy holiday week and the local Vacasa (the unit rents through vacasa) manager was very gracious and extremely helpful getting things sorted. Why 3 stars? The smoke. The walls to the adjacent units are thin - you will hear movie noise and the microwave beeping. That was not a problem, but the amount of SMOKE SMELL that managed to soak over from the next unit was unacceptable to me. Clothes not worn but just stored in the closet there smelled days after we left the unit. Trying to enjoy the mountain air and Ketchum vibe, but then the nose says 'old casino'. We cracked the window, lit some candles, and made it work, but if you are sensitive or allergic to cigarette smoke, this otherwise 4-star unit will not work for you. Perhaps this is not an issue in the warmer months when windows are open, but sadly it was an issue during our stay.

Lovely little mountainside condo!

My husband and I stayed here late September and it was perfect -- perfect size, excellent view of the hillside and forest. It was almost like being in our home condo just transplanted to Ketchum! Very clean, well appointed, and quiet. Everything you could need and biking right out the door. Also on the bus route if you prefer to take the bus to get dinner and drinks. Only thing we wish this condo had was wireless internet. We are pretty tied to work and need to at least be able to send a few emails daily. Otherwise this was a home away from home, recommend it for a couple or individual!
