We've been staying here for years because of the wonderful owner, the great location near the river, and the spacious rooms, however, we probably won't be back due to the way we were treated by the management. She was acting bothered when we called for a reservation, (and yelled at us over the phone - telling us about a very personal problem of hers,, so we felt really bad even trying to secure a room), then, called and accused us of lying about how many people we had in the room (we had a 6-month old baby that we thought might stay home with a relative, so didn't give her a final count until we arrived) and complaining that we were "irresponsible' when she called a full day early to collect the final amount because we had to wait for the card-holder to return from the village. By the end, we felt guilty for asking for ANYTHING, including a reservation, we also felt accused, and were pretty upset about the overall hostility from the manager. She was acting like someone that just didn't want us there at all. It really brought down our stay, and we were anxious to leave. All of us agreed that it might be time for this manager to stop working with the public.
