“A wonderful, post-Labor Day getaway for those who would avoid the high-summer bedlam on Auburn Lake. Our mid-week, three-day stay encountered but a single jet ski; thus, we frolicked and swam off the paddle boat (provided) for hours without a wake in sight. Of the cottage amenities and overall impression let me say, simply, that we've never encountered a more thorough or conscientious host. “A darling, immaculate home! We returned a second time. The views of Lake Michigan are spectacular and the extra touches made it stand out from the others. Snacks, water, bottle of wine, logs for the fire pits and a welcome note. Truly worth every penny. We’ll be back. ”

“We were in town for a dog training event. This location was about 20 minutes from the venue. Great view from the table while drinking morning coffee. It was not more than 20 minutes from anything we needed. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.”

“Had a great time. The kitchen is well-stocked to cook anything you might want to make. Beautiful sunrises over the lake. In late August, the water was too green to swim in if that is something of interest. The cottage is perfect for 3 couples with the way it is laid out.”

“We had such a quiet relaxing time. Watching the lake change colors and the sound of the waves, so relaxing. Surfdaze is pet friendly . We hope to return sometime.”

“Lovely spot, close to beach , sounds of waves, beautiful sunrises. Only suggestion is blinds on windows in bedrooms, to keep out neighbors lights that shine all night. Water is very stinky, not their fault though, being lots of bottled water. Shower temp a little tempremental! It would be nice to have a dryer as towels never dry, towels don't absorb well for some reason. Beds were very comfy and soft! I' d book again and highly recommend!”
