Upon arrival, we were beyond impressed with the beautiful house and amenities in the pool area. Lots of relaxation spots, and we loved the ping pong table. It was nice to have a dart board, and the grandsons loved playing pool. The TV near the pool was fantastic for nighttime viewing. A refrigerator with a working ice machine by the pool was a huge plus. The closets had plenty of hangers—and good ones. The kitchen was massive and a pleasure to cook in. It even had a wine cooler. We were having a great time on Sunday and Monday.
But on Monday night after cooking a lasagna dinner, the dishwasher stopped working in mid- cycle. We noticed the seal had popped out and it was leaking significantly, and a few minutes later, the machine just stopped, flashing an LC code. We contacted our host, explained the situation, that we were a big family and I planned to cook my grandsons’ favorite meals most nights.
Here is his response: “I don’t have any appliance repair service, on Keys very hard to find a good repair people, usually with plenty of time and without guest, I always try to fix any problem on the house, unless it’s something heavy like a/c or something dangerous.”
We responded that it was essential that we had a working dishwasher and that we would be out of the house all day on Tuesday, so to please send someone to repair it. Mr. Miranda never responded to that message.
