Favorite Truman Annex Property Ever!!!

We stayed at the Green Bamboo Townhouse the first week of November. We love the location of the property, and even though we’ve stayed in other condos and townhouses in Truman Annex, this was by far our favorite. Beautifully furnished and all the comforts of home. The ONLY negative is the parking space. If you plan to rent a car, you would be wise to rent a small one.

Annual Key West Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the moment we walked through the door we new this place was right. The kitchen is well appointed. The furniture is comfortable. Plenty of good bath, hand towels and wash cloths. The space inside and outside of the unit is spectacular.Only 2 1/2 blocks from Duval; it's a convenient and leisurely walk to any restaurant or bar. Far enough away from everything to be quiet, but close enough to enjoy. The grounds are well kept and we always felt safe. This will be the place we stay as long as it's available for our time.

The property was very comfortable & clean with a nice layout that made us feel right at home. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary appliances and utensils that allowed us to slow down the mornings and evenings to a relaxing pace. The 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths worked out perfectly for our group of four. The patios located on the main floor and off the master bedroom along with the front porch provided relaxing secluded getaways for quiet time & enjoying the beautiful weather. The location was excellent putting us a couple of blocks off Duvall at Southard, right in the center of Old Town surrounded by the beautiful homes of the Truman Annex. Everything was in walking distance like Mallory Square, the Aquarium and your pick of the best restaurants (Blue Heaven, La Creperie, The Cafe Viento and Moondog Cafe) & bars. I would like to give a special thanks to Michelle from Compass Realty for setting up a flawless stay for my family. The lock box and parking were a big plus as we were delayed in arrival due to bad weather. I would highly recommend staying at this location and will look for it in the future. Thanks

Family Time!

This property was GREAT! The location was awesome and the staff were helpful. Communication was great and the property was comfortable. The neighborhood was absolutely stunning and we were grateful that they let us keep our luggage in the office after checking out. Would definitely stay with them again!

I think we had the pool all to ourselves on most days. This is our 3rd or 4th stay at Green Bamboo. The unit could stand a few updates or TLC, the bedding is the same as it was about 10 years ago- time for new covers. The washer and dryer were brand new! Much appreciated.

Felt Like Home

This was a very comfortable unit. It was well equipped with kitchen supplies and other items to make you feel like you are at home. It was quiet yet close enough to everything. We will book this place again!

There’s a nice deck with table and chairs, a ceiling fan and an electric grill. It’s great that there is a half bath on the main floor. Walking distance to Duval, My Blue Heaven and the Creperie (great breakfast places). Fort Zach is very close. You can do beach yoga there every morning. We’ve already booked for next year!

Truman Annex-location, location, location

This property was exactly as described. It was very comfortable for our family. It was so nice to have front porch, back porch & porch off the master bedroom. Everything you need is available in the kitchen, appreciated having things available like dish soap, foil, plastic wrap, etc. Pool was close by and very relaxing! The location is great! So easy to walk to all the attractions and shopping.

The rental procedure is easy and there is constant communication available. The Green Bamboo is so beautiful, well stocked and couldn't be in a better location. The only negative is the location of the parking space. You need to have a small vehicle to angle it in.

The condo was decorated nicely and checkin could not have been easier. We visited some of our old favorites but found some new ones too. Witt’s Courthouse Deli had the best fresh custard. The Mallory Square sundae is perfection. We also discovered Off the Hook on Caroline St. Food was fabulous and the service was even better. Alonzo’s for fresh seafood was fabulous and the view of the harbor made it even better. The condo was comfortable and well maintained except for some cracked tile in the bathroom. This is the perfect location for a visit in Key West!

Fabulous Week at The Green Bamboo

Wonderful house in a beautiful area. Had all of the amenities that we needed for the week. Neighbors were a nice plus too as they were very friendly. Loved the location as it was very close to everything that we did. Also, really enjoyed biking up to the park each evening to watch the sunset. Could not have asked for a better week in Key West. Will definitely be back again.

A gem in The Shipyard Condo's/Truman Annex

By far the nicest property that my wife and I have booked in the Shipyard/Truman Annex. (this is probably the 11th different property for us) It's spacious, well appointed, extremely clean and fresh, and the bed was quite comfortable. We are looking forward to returning. Great owner and management. (and covered parking for our scooter!)
