Excellent accommodations

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet, comfortable and close to everything. The house is well equipped with everything one needs to feel at home and the pool and outside area are just perfect for Key West summers. Melanie, the property manager was extremely helpful and kind.

La Peurta Rosa

The house is nice, and the backyard is very relaxing. We had a great experience with renting the property. Great communication with property manager. It is about a 30 minute walk to Duval.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I think this is the first rental house I've ever stayed in where the pictures actually matched the reality of the house. If you're thinking it looks like a small slice of paradise, it truly is! The house was clean with plenty of initial supplies to get you through the first week. Check-in, as well as all interactions with the property manager, was quick and easy. The house location was perfect for us--residential and quiet, but a short 20 minute walk or 4 minute Uber to Duval or other hot spots. The best part is you are a five minute bike ride to Higgs beach and no more than 15 minutes to Smathers.The backyard is the highlight of the house. The plunge pool is bigger than it looks and the owner has smartly created several seating areas throughout. Just wait until you're sitting on the deck, under the string lights, eating Key West spiced shrimp or something picked up from the local butcher a couple blocks away. (The grill works great too!)

Highlights were the refreshing pool, the outdoor entertaining area and a spacious living room, kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom had a high ceiling and a very comfortable bed which was a great plus. The neighborhood is quiet and yet, you are in walking/cycling distance to cafe's, restaurants and Truman/Duval St. I would rent the cottage again particularly as our experience with the property manager and the neighbor very very positive. They have been extremely helpful and responded fast when we needed help.

The calm peaceful vibe that resonated from the beautiful landscape, the pool fountain and the pool, the bright welcoming kitchen and the perfectly decorated rooms could not be more to my taste. It was divinely planned for me to be "stuck" in key west at this beautiful magical home. I am forever grateful for my time spent exploring the simple daily pleasures of key west with La Puerta Rosa as my homebase. If you are seeking relaxation and a time for quiet reflection and peace in your soul...or just a beautiful home to spend time in while you vacation in Key West... Treat yourself to this home.
