Family Birthday celebration.

The property, location and dock are great. Our 11 year old grandson loved fishing off the dock. The adults enjoyed the location, quiet but easy to get everywhere. Also, the house is big enough for 6 adults (3 families) and the grandchild. The only improvement I would suggest is that the kitchen could be a little better equipped.

Best spot for a girls trip

This property was perfect for our group of 8. We especially enjoyed the beautiful sunrises on the water. The well equipped kitchen and large family/dining area were much appreciated. Very comfortable, super clean and highly recommended!

Key West 45th Anniversary Vacation

It was awesome. Close to everything our family of 10 wanted to do. The house was big enough for our 3 families so that we did not get in each other's space. Staff was awesome to work with: both Doug and Alisa. They helped with bed arrangements and booking our activites and transportation. Alisa directed us to some awesome attractions. Would highly recommend this property to a group of 3 families. When we return to Key West again we will book our stay with Key west Vacation Homes.

Perfect Extended Family Wedding spot

We were close to the downtown marina where the wedding was going to be on the Argo Navis Catamaran. All of the events we were doing prior to the wedding made this the perfect central location! The home was well furnished and it was just a wonderful experience.

Paradise

The house was amazing, nice view of marina. Not too busy with boat traffic. Pool and backyard courtyard was private and beautiful. Felt like an oasis. Beds were comfortable. Location was a bit too far to walk to Duval due to heat but no problem with golf cart or bike. Parking in town is expensive and hard to find. Ubers are expensive. Living room was spacious and well appointed. Couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. It would have been nice to have elevator working on move in and move out day for luggage but there is a significant fee to open it so be prepared to carry your luggage up many stairs. Ping pong in basement was fun addition. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles if one goes in garage. Very quiet neighborhood although we didn’t have anyone staying in the surrounding houses. Dock was fun to hang out on and fish from, We saw manatees and nurse sharks from it. I hope to return soon!

Good location; needs deep cleaning and freshening up

in general, Bayview Retreat is “ok”. It is a good location, easy access to downtown, easy to keep a boat for one’s stay (has a great dock right by the Garrison Bight Marina), and easy to get in and out of. However, there are issues that need to be addressed. The biggest issue is one of cleanliness. The unit needs a “deep clean”, including floors, walkways, furniture, etc. Our feet were all covered in black from walking around inside the unit. The deck area around the pool was unkept, including a need to be swept, generally picked up and the grill was left a mess. The pool itself had bottle caps inside the pool. We had a good stay as we were out much of the time, but would have enjoyed the property more if the house were better prepared and better cleaned.

Family vacation for Christmas

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome Christmas spent with our 2 sons, their wives and 2 18-21 year old grandsons. The place was great. Living room had sufficient seating for everyone as well as the dining room table which was a must. EVERYBODY was able to sleep in a king size bed by requesting when you make your reservation. The backyard was fenced so our little Poochon was able to be off leash. Above all the kitchen was equipped VERY well. I took roasting pan and large Dutch oven to prepare our Christmas Prime Rib but was not necessary. Really just bring your food. HINT: groceries at Publix and Winn Dixie were quite expensive but if you're qualified, The Commissary on NAS Key West is better than reasonable. Last but not least, the pool was very enjoyable. You can set the water temp to what you desired, but know, it is NOT a hot tub but 96 degrees was more than comfortable for us.

Perfect Vacation!

We were directly on bay, with a wonderful view and boat access to the bay. There were seven of us, staying in four different bedrooms. The house was absolutely clean and had everything we needed. When we needed help from the management staff, such as how to access the elevator and asking for extended stay time, they either came over immediately or quickly answered our questions.Our rental was within a short distance to all the sights that we wanted. The younger members of our family just walked to most sites, although the older members did drive. When we returned from tours, it was so very nice to be able to cool off in the pool and have some fun with the kids.For over a decade our family has travelled together as a group, staying at a variety of lodging sites. We all agreed that this was the best place we had ever stayed. Everything about the rental was delightful! I definitely give it a 5+ rating!!!

Sweet Spot

Spacious quarters for the 7 of us with every amenity you can think of. Loved the quiet neighborhood away, yet walkable to the action. Will definitely stay here again!
