We had a nice stay at Sweet Dreams.Location was what we were looking for. Room was great for the two of us. Pet friendly, very quiet,easy access and ground floor room. A few updates and grounds maintenance would have made it perfect!

I enjoyed a two night stay. The rooms were large and clean. It was great to have a big warm terry robe in the bath. The outdoors was like a lovely jungle garden with two small heated pools.

Great place to stay at, very charming old town Key West property. Just a few blocks from Higgs Beach. Very quiet neighborhood but yet just a few minutes from Duval street.

Stayed in the garden suite for a week and we had an awesome time! The property is beautiful, the cat was so cute and friendly, and the king bed had me sleeping like a rock. Would definitely come back 👌

Great spot. A secluded garden compound just a short walk from Duval. Close to the action yet quiet and private. The owner was very responsive and the accommodations were exactly as described.

cute set of mini apartments/studios in a large house bldg...each room has a theme of sorts. The site owner meets you in person & walks you through the property and key west ideas to eat and drink...they can set you up with a boat ride snorkel etc - there are bikes to rent ..we easily biked all over the town. comfortable stay...outside the main busy loud streets so its relatively quiet.

Really neat place and right near everything in town. If you book a stay here, try to get a chat in with the owner! He is a knowledgeable fellow with loads of stories and history about the area. Also, if you are a runner completing the Keys 100 (as I did), this is right by the finish, has an excellent and wide shower to wash all of your pain away, and a bed that you will not want to leave once you crash down. Well, I can only speak for the Duvall Room. There are others in the building, but I am certain they are all great! Highly recommend and would return myself in the future.

The property was off the beaten path, but with easy access to the beach, and walkable to all the interesting sites and experiences of Key West. Nice, private spaces to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Oh, and the delicious Florida oranges were great too!

Appartamento grazioso indipendente, con giardino lussureggiante e graziosa piscinotta. Mark ottimo ospite, ci ha fornito ogni forma di jnformazione utile, dai locali convenzionati o con migliore rapporto qualità prezzo, ai cennibstorici suglj abitanto dell'isola. The property has a lovely old-Key-West charm, and the yard is truly special with a peaceful, soulful atmosphere. The hosts were kind and welcoming, which we appreciated. However, there was a constant musty/moldy smell inside the house that never went away and even transferred to our clothes. Strong essential oils were used to try to mask the odor, but they were overwhelming and caused headaches. The towels and sheets were also quite worn and could use replacing. With improved air quality, deep cleaning, and refreshed linens, this place could be much more comfortable.

We stayed in November 2025. Property looked abandoned. Host had son oversee property. He was supposed to meet us upon arrival but it took numerous calls to get him there. There were ripped and damaged chairs at one entrance. Once in property it looked abandoned and neglected. Lots of barrels of brush, unusable mini golf area filled with debris. Room was extremely dusty, filled with massive amounts of old brochures and magazines. No fresh fruit or snacks as advertised the whole time we were there. Only enough coffee for one day of our four day stay. Mugs were disgusting. Old broken air conditioner hung loosely out of wall. This property has so much potential if only maintained.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Nice secluded setting on side street, but also close to the beach and to the main tourist street called Duval street. Only one draw-back, it was indicated on the expedia registration that a complimentary breakfast was available. However, coffee, fruit ant nut bars do not really seem a fair description for breakfast. That said, it was not a big issue for us and did not mar our stay. We really enjoyed our stay here and was good value for the price involved.

Honest review

In a great location, close to beach, walking distance to Duval St, but Only problem we had was the floors not properly washed. My daughter’s white socks were black after walking those floors and white hand towels are almost gray color, wonder if they bleach them. Shower head is like a mist, if I were owner, I’d replace. And I would say it’s time to repaint the place. Too many stains on walls and doorways. I’m just a bit of a germaphobe. But overall stay was good.
