I absolutely cannot believe I lucked out with booking this place! It was absolutely wonderul and no complaints whatsoever. My partner and I slept wonderfully because the bed was sooo comfortable and it was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen. Everything was within walking distance that we never really took our car out to get food or visit the store! It was a wonderful stay and would 100% come back again.

The only problem was the heat in the bedroom where no AC but we fixed placing the big fan we found there in the hallway and all the cold air from living moved in the bedroom. Balcony was offering even a nice sunset. Kamaole has the most nice sand comparing with sands on Big Island and Oahu. Clean quiet and relax what else do you need ?

Location is great. Check in and communication is good. Small details need to be worked on such as : providing more toilet paper, providing kleenex, hiding/moving owners stuff from the suite so that it is cleaner and less cluttered for guests. As a guest I do not want to open cupboards and see heaps of someone elses stuff.

Well-kept condo in Kihei, not too crowded facilities even though many other people staying in adjacent condos. Was quiet at night. Condo filled with mirrors which was unique. Very clean. Easy checkout. Only critique I’d make is that you had to manually check in at office upon arrival which is slightly inconvenient because it’s hours are 8-5, the prime hours to be exploring the island.

Exactly as presented in VRBO and great. Interior of the unit was clean, well furnished, and kitchen was well appointed with all the needed items. We enjoyed the games that were in the unit (Rumikub). The tennis/pickleball court was a great ammenity. It was not crowded. Good sign-up system for use of the court. Location is perfect. 2 minute walk from our unit to the beach. Within easy walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, coffee, shave ice, surf shops.

Great location right across from Kamaole 2 and even has a view of the ocean from the lanai. The unit is very well equipped with everything we needed including a cooler and beach chairs. Everything worked as it should and we had no issues. We were quite comfortable but would suggest a new mattress soon. It seems to be fairly old, slightly sagged in the middle and very soft due to the thick foam topper. The carpet could use a shampoo soon as the high traffic areas are showing a bit dirty. Other than these couple things we were very happy with our stay!

The tennis court was in good shape and easy to book.The barbecues were excellent. Lots of restaurants and shops walking distance. The unit was well equipped with beach towels, chairs, umbrellas etc and there was a view of the inner courtyard gardens and water view. The unit was clean and comfortable.

3rd stay at Kihei Akahi, 1st time at C203 Didn’t notice mold and dirt until standing in shower. Didn’t receive the free sarong and there has been no contact to us about it.

Reviewer Comments: The unit is in a great location, easy to get to everything in Maui.This place needs the full split A/C like so many other units at this complex has, the tiny little A/C that is in the living room is not adequate to cool the place and must run all of the time to just slightly cool the room, not efficient. I would not stay here again simply due to that. The unit should have a digital room lock, not the lock box, it is scary leaving the key to your room hanging on the door in just a little metal box that who knows may have the code. The unit itself could use some updates; the foam pad on the bed is not the greatest, the paint and decor are very dated. If you are rarely in the room, as we are, it "works" but nothing special at all.
