Stay at Sugar Beach

We had a great time staying at this condo on Maui. The views from the lanai are spectacular. We saw whales! The condo was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook inside or grill out but it’s also easy to take a short ride for lunch or dinner and daily excursions. I would definitely recommend staying here for your trip to Maui!

Perfection

The balcony view is mesmerizing and will make every night breathtaking. The location is perfect as it is centrally located. Being close to Sugar Beach Bakery and Ululani's allows for beach walks for breakfast or dessert. Everything was perfect.

We had a wonderful time! The place was perfect! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and beach! The pool/beach items provided were great! The view was priceless!!! Having coffee on the deck over the ocean was so relaxing. Great communication with host. Will definitely come again!

Amazing view and perfect location!

My friend and I loved staying at Sugar Beach PH#31. All the photos were accurate. The weather was perfect and being steps away from the beachfront was glorious. The calm water and beautiful sunsets, whether on the balcony or beachfront, gave me a sense of peace and rest. I wish I had another week and would definitely stay here again! Mahalo!

It was clean, nice& a pretty quiet place. Our bed was comfortable but it was squeaky which was annoying. Even when one of us moved it would wake the other person.Other than that, it was awesome!THANK YOU! Super helpful lady at the rental shop!

We loved our stay. The unit was great with most beautiful views. It was so amazing being able to sit on the lanai watching the waves with the occasional turtle. The only complaint we have is the last 2 days someone in another unit was smoking on their lanai and it smelt so bad that we would have to go inside.

It was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this property. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Unit was clean and well stock with those little things you may forget. It is also located in a central are with lots of things to do/eat close by.

Everything was perfect! Beautiful views. Great location. We really enjoyed the sandwich shop on the property. Condo was very clean and stocked with everything you may need. Having a washer and dryer was very convenient. 5 stars!

1st trip to Maui

The Condo had everything you needed for a stay. Beautiful views from lani. Seen a few whales sitting having coffee from there. Really only complaint was there were no curtians to block sun out. I relize they may do it for the view. And no stove exhaust for when your cooking, could get a little smoke filled room. Other then that we only hung out in it at night to sleep. It is on a quieter part of the beach. Really only compl

We loved the condo. Very clean and modern. Lots if hooks to hang stuff and even an electric kettle which most rental forget about tea drinkers. Short walk down a beautiful big beach to the farmers market and the best bakery in Kiehi - Sugar Beach Bake Shop. Will stay here again and highly recommend

Wonderful First Visit to Maui

We greatly enjoyed this condo, the ocean view, proximity to the beach, easy parking, and kitchen/laundry amenities. This unit is very upgraded and modern compared to many others in the complex. A beautiful short walk on the beach to Sugar Beach Bake Shop and Ululani's Shave Ice and ABC Store. Would definitely recommend this excellent condo for couples.

Return to Maui

Very nice stay. The pictures do justice to the actual unit; beautiful view. Centrally located to the many enjoyable activities there are to experience in Maui. Ants seem to be an issue on condo decks in Maui, especially when the wind is blowing from the north. Made eating on the lanai difficult. Certainly not the owner's fault. We would stay here again.

Best beach getaway!

This condo was clean, easy to access, and excellent instructions from host. We had enough basic amenities (toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies) to get us through our 6 day stay. Bed was super comfy, and the beach view was perfect. Beach chairs and coolers were great to have close by and use as well! The snow cone place down the street was a perfect beach walk away; and while the beach was beautiful snorkeling conditions here weren’t great (just something to consider if you want to walk out and snorkel). We would totally stay here again if we are ever lucky enough to go back to Maui!

Great location!

Gorgeous location. Pool was crowded and noisy so we skipped that. The outlets in the kitchen were blown so the microwave wasn’t operational. I’m sure they would have fixed it but we didn’t want to spend our time messing with it. I didn’t like that the bathroom was in the bedroom - but that’s more of a personal preference. The floors were very dirty - they were swept but this place hasn’t seen a mop in awhile. All that said, the views are worth the other issues.

Enjoyed the deck for the ocean and whale watching! Beautiful! Good location as well! Condo had some nice amenities, but I imagine the owners would be extremely disappointed in the cleaning of their unit. We had black feet and socks within minutes after being respectful of their property and not wearing shoes inside. There were Doritos on the floor, the stove still had egg (or something) on it, and the deck didn’t appear to have been cleared of dead bugs (although they did seem to gather quickly). The hallways to the condos needed to be cleaned as well. Could be a much nicer experience. Cleaning crew…do better for the sake of your homeowners and guests.

Cute little condo, amazing location

The unit was as described, cute, everything functioned well. There were some beach chairs and a cooler in the closet, as well as beach towels. The condo complex itself was unnotable and unfortunately smelled of garbage, but the landscaping was lovely and full of all sorts of spectacular flowering plants. The complex is located right on Sugar Beach, which is perfect for lazing around, kids playing safely in the water, building sandcastles. There is a lovely view of the bay and islands. If you tire of swimming in the ocean there is a nice little pool and hot tub, and lots of beach chairs for sitting in to look out at the ocean. On site there are a handful of businesses including a nice activity concierge place (where you can research activities and book tickets) and a sandwich shop. My only negative experience had to do with the property owner, who I felt was unnecessarily unkind when I asked for a full or partial refund. Our visit happened about 10 days after the wildfires that devastated Lahaina, and the Hawaiian government was requesting that people cancel or postpone any unnecessary travel to the island so that infrastructure could focus on response to the fire. But the owner of this condo said he would not give me even a partial refund. I felt that his decision to maintain his regular reservation policy was understandable, but the angry tone with which he lectured me about it was not. Government recommendations changed so we took the trip anyway, and the place was nice.
