Absolutely Perfect
The house is very unassuming from outside but inside is perfect. Every comfort one could want. Super clean and great hosts. Stocked with beach equipment to take the 3-minute walk to the shore. This was our 2nd stay at this home and we're already talking about a 3rd. Highly recommend.

Great Vacation Stay
Our family had a terrific week staying at this house. The house was clean, everything worked, and the location was fantastic. We really appreciated the use of the beach chairs, umbrellas, and cart to tote them all to the beach which is just a few minutes' walk down the street. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if vacationing in the Outer Banks.

Best trip yet!
This was our 3rd year coming to OBX. This was beyond the best experience and best house we’ve had! Communication was amazing, check in was a breeze, hot tub was perfect for the evening, easy 3 min walk to the beach along with a great beach wagon to help! They had PLENTY of pots pans silverware every kitchen necessity possibly needed!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Fantastic Rental - Perfect Location!
The pictures don't do this place justice. We LOVED our week at the High Tide Hideaway. Check in was a BREEZE and everything was exactly as described. We didn't even need to contact the hosts at all - as our place was awesome. It's the perfect location between Kitty Hawk and Nags Head and our place had everything we needed. Flying in from the west, we rented towels from a local place, and were able to use all the beach stuff from the house. The beach was a quick 5-7 min walk from the house. We would highly recommend this house to anyone coming to the OBX!

Amazing place with amazing owners
The house was perfect for our family in so many ways. The location was great, close to the beach. I mainly wanted to leave this review because I somehow managed to forget a whole drawer of clothes there. Brandon and Ashley were kind enough to mail them to me as soon as they could! We will definitely rebook this house if possible on our next trip to OBX!

Everything you need for the beach!
This house is a great quick walk to the beach! Comfortable for 4 people, and lots of great outdoor spots and seating for hanging out. Loved the upper deck when it wasn't super windy! The owner provided a lot of great beach equipment like chairs, toys, and a beach cart to haul everything. Note that the house does not provide towels. We missed this in the listing (tho it is there) and ended up having to purchase extra towel while we were there. Additionally, and not the owners fault at all, there is a new construction going up right net door as of May 2023. The generator and loud music started up around 8am. May want to check with the owner about the status of the construction before booking your stay.

Perfect stay in OBX!
We enjoyed our stay so much. The house had everything we needed including beach toys and a beach wagon. The walk to the beach was close and the views of the Wright memorial from the crows nest were spectacular. The beds were comfy and it really felt like home. The hot tub was also nice to have with the cooler April evenings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again!

Perfect for our stay! Comfortable home with so many extras to make our stay great: books, games, puzzles, beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, boogie boards, toys and even a wagon for hauling to the beach. We loved the hot tub and the outdoor shower and the view from the upper deck too.

Gorgeous, affordable beach property
This house is a short five minute walk to the public beach access. The owners are responsive and accommodating. The house is beautiful and full of beach toys, games, books, movies and anything else you might need for a fun stay in OBX. I also really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the hot water heater is awesome (able to keep THREE simultaneous showers warm). It has an ocean view and a hot tub. Great for small groups (we had five people sleep comfortably). Highly recommended.

Great Time In The OBX
Brandon's and Ashley's place is just perfect for our family. This was the Second year that we've stay at their place. The beach is just a three minute walk and is so easy to get to. The house is clean has everything you need for a vacation. Plenty of places to shop, eat and sight see. I would highly recommend their place. The whole process of renting the house was effortless and easy.

Love High tide Hideaway

Great House

Awesome Beach House!
We had a great time at High Tide Hideaway. The location is so close to the beach, we hardly noticed the walk. It was nice having shade for our cars under the house, and the hot tub, bench swings, and screened-in porch were welcome bonuses. The main living space & kitchen are open, bright, and spacious and we appreciated the keypad on the main door as well. It was a great experience!

Our Vacation at High Tide Hideaway
This was the first time our family has ever been to the Outer Banks and Brandon and Ashley's house was a perfect fit for our family. The whole process of renting the house was effortless. The communication with the owners was great, They made sure we had everything we needed to ensure a smooth check in and offered their help to any questions we had or advice we needed. The house was in perfect condition when we arrived and had all the essentials to make our stay very comfortable. If your family are beach lovers like mine the walk to the beach was so easy from the house, within just a couple minutes your toes are in the sand. There is also the Wright Brothers Museum across the street, restaurants, shopping, mini golf and so much more to do. A drive down the coast to the Hatteras Light house is worth seeing also. We had such a good time at Brandon and Ashley's place and would recommend it to everyone. The whole experience was just perfect.

Even Better Than Expected
After having been blown out by last years hurricane, we wanted to share our vacation with the entire family. It took us back years to our former home. Warm, cozy, and a moments walk to the beach. The Beach Access was always available to us with a parking place. Beaching next to a life guard was a bonus. We did so much cooking, the kitchen and all of the accessories were like being at home. It was a real great flash back to use a charcoal grill I loved it. Having a wonderful washer and dryer made having what we wanted to wear so easy. Beach chairs and games both downstairs and in the laundry just capped it all of for us. Coffee on the screened in porch or the upper deck made starting each vacation day that much more special. Close to everything & Everything you’ll need is here!
The check in process was seemless. The property was very well decorated & offered any of the ammenities you need for a beach stay. The decks were awesome to hangout on while waiting on breakfast lunch or dinner. The screened in porch was nice for morning sunrises. The beach was a short Walk or easy bike ride over. There were a lot of cool shops nearby to checkout in your spare time , if you have any! Great & Very Comfortable place to stay ! Forgot to mention there’s an outdoor shower & a hot tub after a long day at the beach!

Lovely House
We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this house. Our favorite thing was the screened in porch. You can hear the ocean and enjoy the breeze. The inside of the house was very comfortable as far as furnishings. We slept surprisingly well considering it was a strange bed. An added bonus is how close to we were to public beach access. Overall a great time and we would do it again.

Great location, great property, great owners
We LOVED this house. For two adults and two young kids, this was a top notch rental. Very well socked with beach equipment -- we did bring our primo beach chairs from home...but they had several of the exact same ones there. No shortage of games, DVDs, kitchen supplies or anything else. The location was great, too -- half a block to the beach, easily walkable with our seven year old and a nice grocery store a very short drive away. Love that it came with linens for the beds. Outside shower is roomy and the hot tub is a nice extra. We loved the decks, too, which provided shade during the day and a nice place to relax in the evening. No complaints whatsoever. Also, the owners are very thoughtful, accommodating and kind. One of the best rental experiences we've had, highly recommended!

Hideaway indeed!
This was the perfect place for our family of three on our week-long vacation to OBX. The walk to the beach was even shorter than I imagined. The house is very clean, well-outfitted and tastefully decorated. The owners were very hospitable and responsive. Would definitely go here again.

Adorable and tidy beach cottage centered in the heart of the OBX
Great beach cottage with central location. Wonderful beach feel with colors, linens, and just the right amount of beach decor. Screened in side porch was handy for rain showers. Front porch swing was a favorite! Beds were all very comfortable. Bikes and beach wagon were great additions that were used daily. Just a short walk to the beach. Brandon and Ashley were wonderful hosts, quickly responsive to any questions. Perfect spot for our family vacation!
