"Room, walkways, lobby, pools, and parking lots were all very well cared for and clean. The no smoking was wonderful compared to other properties we’ve stayed at that allows smoking. The beach access has no steps, which is nice, but the beach end of the access ramp was steep. Breakfast was good. No complaints from our very picky children. The waffles were a big hit. We stayed 6 nights, and other than towel/wash cloths drop off and pick up, there was no garbage taken out, no cleaning/ bed making etc. We arrived early and asked about early check in, we were told we would be contacted if/when our room became available. We decided to hang out on the beach until then. We passed by a room that was empty and clean with beds made etc. we jokingly said “oo they could give us that room”. 6 hrs later we were still waiting to check in, so I decided to call and ask for an update. Our room was ready and ended up being the clean empty room we noticed when we first arrived. I would guess the night shift front desk staff had no idea how to check people in, nor did he communicate with the day shift staff we were waiting. Which I get, check in is at 4pm. Just an unnecessary inconvenience, considering the room was ready the entire day. Would definitely stay again."
