Very walkable to downtown Killarney and there is a great pub across the street with music. Breakfast at Herbert was fantastic and reasonable. The owner and staff were very nice. The only thing that could be improved is the carpeting inside the sleeping rooms.

Our room was spacious and light. Tea and coffee was available any time of day, self-service in the kitchen upstairs. Beautiful Victorian decor. So quiet, so clean, and a nice breakfast was available in the morning in the elegant breakfast room. Close to town for dining and shopping. Plenty of parking out front.

It's a nice house in a good location and I liked the owners and their daughter. But my room wasn't cleaned well enough and I didn't sleep well due to allergies. It needed vacuuming. But would have been comfortable otherwise.

Just about ten minutes walk from all the options in the city. Very clean, very beautiful property. Friendly staff, did not pay for the breakfast as it was a little pricey and didn't see the options ahead of time so wasn't keen to pay and not have a suitable option.

Highly recommend a stay at this beautiful BnB

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, clean, comfortable and characterful BnB, in a great location an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Warm and friendly customer service. Comfy beds, great bath tub, supermarket just a few houses up the road. We were only disappointed there was no breakfast service during our stay as the previous breakfast reviews were fab! I think as they were doing some minor works/painting the dining room so it was closed- hopefully next trip we can try the breakfast!

Short 10 min walk into town. Clean small hotel in good condition. Chef ‘having problems’ and was not available to cook breakfast. We had to leave the property to obtain food in the morning. Apart from a 3 minute introduction when checking in, we saw no staff except for the cleaners for the entire 2 nights we were there. On the plus side, we were changed by request from a room on the front which faced the busiest street in Killarney to a quiet one at the back. For the amount of money spent, it wasn’t worth staying here. At this price, breakfast should have been included…disappointed.

Charming B&B. Everyone was warm and helpful; we had breakfast there both days, and it was probably the best breakfast we had in Ireland. Very clean, very comfortable, walking distance to town and across the street from a Hop On Hop Off bus stop. We feel very lucky to have been able to stay at Herbert House, a lovely place!
