Very walkable to downtown Killarney and there is a great pub across the street with music. Breakfast at Herbert was fantastic and reasonable. The owner and staff were very nice. The only thing that could be improved is the carpeting inside the sleeping rooms.

Charming B&B. Everyone was warm and helpful; we had breakfast there both days, and it was probably the best breakfast we had in Ireland. Very clean, very comfortable, walking distance to town and across the street from a Hop On Hop Off bus stop. We feel very lucky to have been able to stay at Herbert House, a lovely place!

Wir waren 2 Wochen in Irland, haben immer 5 Sterne gebucht. An dem Tag war alles ausgebucht und wir mussten auf das Herbert Haus ausweichen. Das war die beste Unterkunft, die wir in Irland hatten. Our room was spacious and light. Tea and coffee was available any time of day, self-service in the kitchen upstairs. Beautiful Victorian decor. So quiet, so clean, and a nice breakfast was available in the morning in the elegant breakfast room. Close to town for dining and shopping. Plenty of parking out front.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Herbert House!! We were looking for a convenient, walkable location that was also quiet as we have a toddler. This place delivered!! We easily walked to downtown and restaurants but also enjoyed breakfast on site every morning. The family who runs this home is very sweet and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. For example the crib for our toddler was all set up and was a nice, cozy cot! Easy parking and a great place to come back to after we did the ring of Kerry! Don’t think twice - stay here!

I've stayed in Killarney many times over the years, this year I couldn't get into any of my usual hotels. I booked Herbert house and to say it is wonderful is an understatement, Neil the owner is a gentleman and a true Kerry man, walking into town is easy, location is perfect. Just about ten minutes walk from all the options in the city. Very clean, very beautiful property. Friendly staff, did not pay for the breakfast as it was a little pricey and didn't see the options ahead of time so wasn't keen to pay and not have a suitable option.
