“It’s a very good hotel in the centre of Truro. Ideal for sight seeing, shopping in a very good selection of shops. Large stores as well as boutique shops and a thriving market place. A good restaurant at the hotel as well as other dining establishments in the locality.”
“We loved the atmosphere of the Alverton and its grounds. There was plenty of space for parking and the reception was only a short walk.
The rooms we had were very well presented and very clean. I have marked down on the eco credentials as all the lights and television were on when we arrived which wasn't necessary.
The terrace was a great place to sit in the late afternoon for a pre-dinner drink. At times the bar staff were talking to each other rather than looking after customers needs but……
“Lovely pub/restaurant with small accommodation, ideal if out and about all day and to come back and have a good choice of food or carvery! Wash down with a well selected bar of drinks . Staff were ever so helpful and service was fantastic! Highly recommend a stay here as a good base to venture off to different places of cornwall. ”
