"This little cottage is within easy distance for day trips to many towns and attractions. It retains an old world charm while providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. As an older couple, we were unable to make use of the bedroom area but we used the bed settee, leaving it made up throughout our stay, and still had plenty of room. The single track roads in the area take a bit of getting used to but are easily negotiated with a bit of patience. Stephanie, the host, was very friendly...

"The host was so accommodating. Our flight was actually canceled and he offered to pick up our friends that day and made them feel so welcome. The property is BETER than the pictures. "The Derg House was perfect for our stay with lots of space and wonderful views from the house and from the garden. We enjoyed all aspects of the house with seating areas for all types of activities. Around the fire pit in the evenings was an especially lovely time and we saw the Aurora Borealis which was very special. Definitely a prime location for trips and for seeing family in near-by Nenagh. "I spent all of July and August at Sean’s Lodge at Stonepark and I loved every minute of it. The Lodge was fully equipped with everything I could possibly need to have a comfortable stay and Sean was incredibly kind and helpful. The lodge was quiet and in a beautiful country location but only a 20 minute drive to Portumna and a 30 minute drive to Nenagh. I would definitely love to stay at the Lodge again. 10/10"

"The house was lovely, clean, well furnished (in a way that makes you feel like you’re visiting somewhere special), and spacious. We loved waking up in the morning to the spectacular views and returning home after sight seeing to a company friendly kitchen and comfortable living room. The hosts who passed off the keys were an added treat: gave us the inside scoop to get away from more touristy attractions to more local ones, and made us feel like we were friends."

Highly recommend staying here at Paul and Karen's place in Silvermines. Karen's friendly reception and initial information set the tone for a great visit!"

"We are completely dissatisfied with VRBO. The property they rented us in Limerick, Ireland was occupied! People had been living in it for two months. We were left stranded with absolutely NO support by VRBO. We had to go to a hotel and spend a lot of money until we found a property with another company. This really ruined our vacation in Ireland! Now we just hope we can get our money back!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Peter's home. We had ten people and the house was more than sufficient to give everyone their own bedroom, bathroom and space. The views out the back decks was breathtaking giving you the real Ireland experience. Much of the area can be walked with no problems. Good food, good pubs lots of touristy things to do.
