The room was a decent size and relatively clean until you get into the bathroom. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since the opening of the hotel. There was black mould around the base of the shower, there was dirt all along the track of the shower door and the vent had an inch of dust.

Standards have certainly slipped. Room was filthy, water wouldn’t drain in bathtub because of all the hair in the drain. Kitchen was filthy. Toe nail clippings on pool deck, and pool was full of hair and cloudy.

Place is better than the other options around. However I expect more from the Marriot. The room smelled musty and I have to open a window to get some air flow going to be able to breathe properly. They need to air out the place and get rid of some of the older carpets in the property. It is very dusty.

Bare bones Marriott experience. Shower had some broken tiles that were patched with black grout. Curtains were starting to fall off the curtain rods. Comforter felt like fibrefill and didn’t have a duvet cover on it. Towels were bare bones - not fluffy. No in-room maid service for a 2 night stay so had to make the bed and reuse towels that were really only suitable for one use despite a request for more towels. We were attending a wedding so needed to be fresh and put together when we left the hotel. Never been in a Marriott before with this set of standards.

It wasn’t the cleanest hotel I have stayed in From garbage floating in the pool (not all the hotels fault on that one) to seeing a few roaches in the bathrooms by the gym. We were happy to leave. The breakfast was also something I’d skip if staying there. That being said, all the staff were extremely helpful and kind.

It was terrible overall, the washroom was dirty and the shower wall and floor had mold, I asked the guy at the reception to please clean it because was disgusting. By the end of the day, the washroom was in the same conditions, and I called the reception again and the guy told me (different person) that they clean the rooms every other day, It is non sense! The breakfast was terrible in general the hotel conditions are disgusting.

Had a terrible experience, and the Manger is not customer oriented. I was asked to leave at 10:30pm and was travelling out of town. I would suggest to stay at the Surestay BW. Much better hotel, and MUCH better customer service.

Was an excellent visit to Kincardine with a stay at Towne's Place. Kids and I had a fantastic time. Breakfast was good. Only thing I would say is the pool was not heated and the water was freezing cold which the kids didn't enjoy.

Well run hotel
Very well laid out spacious room with all amenities as one would expect. Staff will provide additional items or extra coat hangers if requested. The only small gripe over our stay was the swimming pool. It is advertised as heated but it is colder than lake Huron in which we swam in regulary.
