“Stayed here for 4 nights. The house was well equipped and very clean. Communication with host was great. A lovely gesture by the host leaving a bottle of prosecco and box of fudge. Very close to the beachfront, which was great as parents are almost 90 years old. Didn't realise the caravan park was directly in front which was our main view, small view of the sea could be seen from balcony. Lovely coastal walks without taking the car.One downside of the area was the road in and out , it was so……

“Excellent holiday experience as always - fourth visit for us - did more and further walks and found some excellent spots for breakfast and lunches. Can’t be faulted. Highly recommend the Church House Inn nearby. Food and service is excellent. Portions are large so be careful not to order too much. All in all Ideally placed for many different days out and scenic walks.”

“The holiday at Oak Cottage was lovely. The accommodation is very well maintained, clean and excellently furnished. There were ten of us and there was enough space for everyone. The meals could be prepared and eaten together without any problems. In the kitchen, two refrigerators offered enough space for supplies. The living room furnishings allowed you to play at a table, read or talk in comfortable sofas and watch a movie in the TV corner all at the same time. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms……

“I’ve been going to the south hams for decades and we were visiting family for a long weekend. We decided to stay at stancombe farm as we wanted the flexibility of eating in and out. Our accomodation was really well equipped and we cooked a few times and had everything we needed. Microwave, Nespresso, dishwasher. The cupboards had all the little items you often need salt, pepper, vinegar. Location wise just above Chillington. A real credit to the owner. We will be back.”
