「We booked a last minute break to escape the fireworks as our dog is petrified - it was so quiet here, it was perfect.The hosts were lovely and the welcome package was also a lovely surprise - tea bags, sugar, coffee, biscuits.The accommodation was spotlessly clean, there were others in the adjacent and next door accommodation but you would never know.Its in close proximity to Hay on Wye, hopefully we will return so we can explore more of the surrounding area.All in all we had a lovely short...

Handy local amenities' at Kington and not far too Hereford for Museums', Art and History and many beautiful rivers. The property itself is charming and extremely comfortable. All in all a great property to enjoy this part of the English/Welsh border.」

「We were a group of 7 with 2 dogs. The house was brilliant- well stocked and very clean. The facilities that were available for the dogs were outstanding- ranging from free to use dog towels, dog biscuits, a fenced in yard plus a massive meadow for walks!The host Nicky was extremely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. I’d definitely recommend!」

「We just had a great stay at Jackdaw Cottage! Our two dogs settled very well and enjoyed exploring the big garden.It was great having Knighton centre/shops in a short walking distance, but also being in a quiet location. We only live about an hour away but it was a break from home which we all thoroughly enjoyed.」

「This place exceeded our expectations. The cottage is spacious and cosy at the same time. Beautifully decorated and very private. Everything in the cottage looks brand new, even though they have been in the business for a few years, but more importantly, the private garden was perfect for our dog (labrador)! The host, Sue, was lovely and very helpful. The area is lovely to explore and there is a farm just down the road where you can buy local produce. Definitely will come back again!」
