Exactly what we wanted

I stayed here with some good fiends for my birthday and a bachelor get together. We were looking for a space which had sleep accommodations for all in our party and close to water. This space was perfect! We were a large party of 10 and everyone was comfortable!

Kingston stay

We enjoyed a successful weekend with a group of 11 individuals. Our accommodation was exceptional, and I am extremely satisfied with the level of service provided. The residence was impeccably clean, the beds were comfortable, and we had an abundance of amenities to ensure our stay was comfortable.

Girls Cycling Trip

This is a lovely and spacious cottage with a fantastic view of loons water snakes, turtles and swans.We used it primarily as a central spot to do cycling in and around the area, specifically the Waterfront Trail, the K& P trail and the Cataraqui Trail which means we did not use the water sport equipment. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, all kinds of cooking utensils and included dry spices, ground coffee and coffee filters. The beds were very comfortable and bedding lovely. The only issue we encountered was the dishwasher lower basket that is missing a set of wheels on the right side to enable the basket to slide into the machine properly. Sitting on the dock was amazing and very private!

Very enjoyable cottage stay

My family thoroughly enjoyed staying at Cranberry Lake. The property was complete..tons of games, activities, toys, waterfront equipment…anything you could possibly want or need. The house and kitchen the same. Only problem…the mosquitos! Many thanks.

The high rating for this property is undeserved. I have waited more than a week for a response from VRBO and Breathe Vacations before writing this review. It appears what was once a well loved family lake house has been allowed to lapse into disrepair and neglect. All of the outdoor furniture was dirty and covered in webs, sap and debris. We shared with Breathe Vacation Rentals the state of the property upon arrival, the second day and then again with photos on the fourth. We never once heard back from a property manager.To be fair, the kitchen was well equipped and the furnishings and beds were of a high quality. The bathrooms were spotless but there are two showers, not 3. The kayaks and SUPs were very nice. Wifi was strong and stable.What lets it down are the dust, webs, many broken screens and damaged or missing blinds. The basement smelled nasty and we saw two cockroaches so we never used that part of the house. The washing machine and laundry tub were both very dirty. We scrubbed furniture, cleaned windows, vacuumed the flies and webs and made the best of our week there but unless the property management company steps up this property definitely does not deserve the high rating. So disappointing.
Both blinds in the bunk bed room were broken.
Outdoor furniture was dirty.
Dirty patio seat cushions.
Every window was full of webs, dirt and dust.
