“Beautiful property, great stay! Thank you”

“Lovely house outside town on a cliff. It was rainy and cold so we couldn’t enjoy the outside which was amazing. Unfortunately when we arrived the power was out due to weather. It took a while to warm up the house. Even with the heat on it was chilly in the house. Great washing machine and good to have 2 bathrooms. Best to enjoy this house in good weather.”

“We stayed at the Historic Hideaway for two nights with another couple. The apartment was clean and well decorated and we loved the exposed stone walls. We weren’t going to attempt getting the car into the drive, but we were able to find parking on the street with a parking disc. Since we were away most of the daytime hours, this never presented an issue (though we knew of the nearby parking garage, if we needed it.) The host also had great local recommendation. We would definitely stay here……

“This townhouse has it all! Large and well furnished interiors, nicely equipped kitchen, and a fabulous location close enough to downtown Kinsale to walk to everything, but on a quiet side street. We would recommend it highly to anyone looking for space, comfort, and very nice ambience. Carmen is a charming host, and helped us with anything we needed as soon as we asked! Kinsale is a small town right on the water with lots of character, interesting sites, and great local pubs. Lovely destination,……

“This property is perched at the end of a cul-de-sac overlooking the Atlantic and some of the Irish seacoast. There are lots of windows to enjoy the views. The house is clean, very well-stocked, and offers guests a chance to have a memorable get-away. I would definitely return here if I am coming back to Ireland.”

“This is a gem! The pictures don't do it justice. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, a view of the magical hills of Ireland we immediately felt at home. There was an amazing welcome basket of local food awaiting us in the light, fully appointed kitchen. The bed and living room furniture were very comfortable and everything spotless. “We completely enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described. There were so many touches that show that the hosts have worked really hard to ensure that their guests are comfortable. It's a combination of old world in a farmhouse over 200 years old with restored stone walls, old family photos and original furniture with modern touches such as USB ports, modern lighting. It's a very thoughtful property. We hope that we have the opportunity to stay there again.”

“A great house in the country of Ireland. Just 5 minutes outside of Kinsale. Plenty of room both inside and out for our group of 12. Kinsale lived up to its reputation as a great harbor town full of great restaurants and retail stores. Location gave us access to all we wanted to do in southwest Ireland. “The house is sited on a hill overlooking the water and harbor of Kinsale. It is a large property, plenty of room for kids to enjoy the outside. The house is comfortable and spacious. The house could use a few things to make a stay easier. Figuring out the appliances and washer is a task. The instruction books have been shredded to some degree over the years, and it took far too long to figure out the different appliances. Some laminated simplified instructions would save alot of hassle. The……

So our first evening in their home was relaxed and we did not have to go out for dinner. “Varun the host was great and readily available with any questions we had and we appreciated that we were able to check-in early. There was a problem with the wi-fi initially but Varun went out of his way to get it fixed as soon as possible. The location was fantastic, walking distance to everything: pubs/restaurants grocery store, etc & a few minutes walk from the bus. Bedroom was a bit small but manageable, kitchen had everything we needed.”
