Beautiful property. Extra designated parking across the street. Located in a quaint little town. Convenient as we attended a wedding there. Clean room.

Impressed
Impressed my partner. Wonderful room.
The owners were hospitable and informative.
Loved the location. Great place to stay after a show in Stratford. Restaurant was excellent as was the service.
Will be our go to place when we visit Stratford.
This place was really great... we had two rooms (adult kids).... beautiful property, spectacular restaurant, dinner on the verandah... retire to your beautiful room, sleep like a ( happy) baby?... great trip
Good accommodations. Outside deck a bonus! Great location for morning walk with coffee. Short walk for groceries. Had to pay a municipal tax when signing out.
This location is beautiful. The check in system is not great and there is no one on staff after 9pm or before 8am. So we just left in the morning without checking out. It’s all a bit different from what we are used to. But the staff are friendly and polite. The food in the restaurant is excellent and delivered quickly. The rooms are very pretty and comfortable. We had no issues with parking . Breakfast can be included if you wish. There is no breakfast menus and no buffet. The volume of food for breakfast is small even for a light eater and only comes in three options.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However, the Inn is definitely more focused on events and the restaurant as its main businesses; as a result, parking can be challenging on weekends (when a wedding is hosted) and evenings. Its location, close to Stratford and in a cute town with walkable shops and parks, is its best feature. The spa was also a lovely experience.
The stay was already quite expensive, and we were surprised to receive an additional $150 charge at the end of the visit "for having booked with Expedia." We were also unimpressed with the breakfast -- we suggest going to a local bakery instead.
We had an incredible stay at Puddicombe house!
We enjoyed afternoon appys & drinks and had a delicious dinner!
Service was fantastic, very helpful & friendly staff!
Wife enjoyed the spa and said her facial & massage were very enjoyable and relaxing.
We hope to return for another visit in the future!
Overall this is a lovely property, with nice staff that put in effort to make you feel welcome.
Just a heads up, if you book via hotels.com your breakfast is not included ($30 per person). This could have been better communicated, we found out as we were already seated at the breakfast table.
Apart from that, we had an overall pleasant stay and would recommend.

The main facility is very nice. A Classic old home in southern Ontario. We stayed in one of the “cottages” associated with the main house. Very cold on arrival but better once heat turned on. Not enough towels or coffee supplies in the room. The pull out bed was well past it’s prime making for a very uncomfortable sleep. We were three adults in the room. In the morning we went to get our breakfast at the main inn only to discover that Expedia clients don’t get breakfast at this bed and breakfast. Rather than spend the extra 100 for breakfast which would have been on top of the 452 already spent for one night, we decided to leave and get breakfast elsewhere. Made for an unpleasant start to our Sunday morning.

This was THE most enchanting, quaint, beautiful, well cared for stay. It will be difficult to relay how abruptly passionate I am for Puddicombe House, and the only way you’ll understand is if you choose to stay there.
The property is immaculate. The family who owns it has clearly put so much time and love into making this a luxury destination stay - I feel like they should charge more, and I’m glad they don’t because I got to stay there for (what is, I now feel, having experienced it) a steal. There wasn’t a single detail out of place. They’ve preserved the Victorian charm, the historical feel, and the beauty of the old architecture while making the downstairs restaurant a high scale attraction. The whole of the building has been perfectly cultivated.
The food was exquisite. We ordered the blueberry Brie platter the night we stayed, and the next morning shared the simplest breakfast, yet every bite of everything was the kind of good that you simply must savor and take your time with - we wanted to stretch every bite further into time. The coffee >> when the waitress refilled our cups, there was crema that foamed up to the surface - something I expect in an espresso shot and was delighted to see in my breakfast mug.
The staff were beyond helpful. Not only was our check in simple and smooth, room service quick and quality, but when we had a small problem with the TV in our room, two of the owners came up to help us address it and ensure our comfortable stay.

The staff is so nice. Everything was wonderful. We had 4 meals there over the weekend and they were all amazing.
Can’t wait to go back.
We stayed in the King room in a small house--looked like an old cottage or carriage house--adjacent to the main house and it was very nicely set up, spacious with a couch in addition to the king bed. The patio is shared with hte other (two?) units in the house. Very comfortable mattress with a handquilted bedspread. Nicely equipped room. At the back of the house, we found it very quiet.
Checkin is in the main house and was fast and easy, although it would have been nice to have been informed of the wifi code at checkin, or to have found it in the room.
Had a fabulous meal at the restaurant and it was very nice to explore the lovely village of New Hamburg before and after. Would definitely stay here again.
