Nice house but no pool access
Easy checkin and nice house….unable to get ahold of anyone from rental group about access to pool. Asked if pool was heated prior to vacation they told us no which is fine but that pool would be open for use on 4/1. Was told Saturday at checkin not to use it - just put chemicals in ( pool company) then they returned Wednesday left hose and chemicals around pool but did not let anyone know if we could use it….had three gorgeous days that we could have used it ( one of the reasons we picked this house). Tried to contact rental company two separate occasions via email, called once, and left inquiry on website to have someone contact me via phone number…along with inbox contact via VRBO…they reached out the last day saying we could use it and of course weather did not permit. Just disappointed in pool usage and contact with company.
Outside of that: couple of things: mattresses are very worn down in several bedrooms: sleeping in holes, Backyard needs to be mowed- overgrown around patio.
The grill needs an upgrade
We had fun as a family visiting the outer banks but for the money we paid and what they are asking per night….they need to upgrade some things and have become a little complacent with certain things.
