Duckburgh - Ocean view, Updated, 2 min. walk to the beach

Duckburgh is an updated one bedroom and two bath condo located just seconds to the beach din Duck, NC. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach! Being steps from away the ocean, beach, and pool allows you to easily walk and not worry about lugging beach equipment and toys in a cart or a car.
Our condo is on the 3rd floor with fantastic, expansive views of the Atlantic ocean and beach in the Colony by the Sea Condominiums. You can often see dolphins from the newly renovated 10x14 deck. New porch swing added in 2024.

Duckburgh offers a master bedroom with a comfortable queen-sized (new in 2018) bed, hallway twin bunk beds, modern kitchen, two full bathrooms (new in 2018), two flat screen TVs with cable and Xumos (similar to ROKU) (living room and master bedroom), pull-out couch, DVD player, WiFi, Keurig Coffee maker, drip coffee maker, ceiling fans, dining table for 4, keyless entry system, and much more. For 2024 we updated our deck to include a wrap around railing, new screen door, and a deck box that contains boogie boards, sand toys, and beach chairs for guests to use. All windows/blinds and sliding glass door were replaced in 2025. Brand new shower floors in 2025 also!

Please note our condo is on the third floor of a three story building with stairs and no elevator- we do have wonderful views! The property is built on pilings to manage potential floods and there are 17 steps per flight of stairs.

The beach is only steps away from our condo! Our condominium community has many amenities. There is a pool (unheated), outdoor grills, basketball and tennis courts (bring your own balls and rackets), pool side restrooms, oceanfront showers, gazebos, and coin operated laundry facilities under the building ($2.00 per load - same for wash and dry).

Duckburg is located just minutes away by car, 15 minute walk to the town of Duck, which has some of the best Outer Banks restaurants, shops and a sound side boardwalk. Bring your bikes -it is easy to bike into town with the bike lanes! There are bike racks at Colony by the Sea.

Corolla is about 10 miles away and has more restaurants, shops, go karts, miniature golf, and plenty of activities for children. The grocery stores are 6-7 miles away.

Remember to bring your own towels, sheets, pillow cases and other linens you may need. You do have the option of renting all your linens. If you like - I can recommend a company that will deliver and pickup all your linens. The company also has other beach and baby items you can rent, if needed.
