The house is beautiful and location even better! Watched dolphins swim by our window everyday. Beds were comfortable and there wasnt anything more we could have asked for. Definitely recommend and hope to visit again!

The house was absolutely perfect! Being right on the beach was amazing. We could cook in or order out great food...especially the fresh fish! The house has been remodeled and is decorated beautifully. We will definitely visit again!

Everything was fantastic. The home was clean, there were enough plates, cups, pots, pans, etc. The deck and hot tub were wonderful and the distance to the beach couldn't be beat. It was fantastic to wake up to dolphins outside our door!

Wonderful house with great location!!!! The mattresses are soft and given how close it is to the ocean, you may find the house sways a bit and the beds can shake at times. Overall, a very nice experience.

Perfect location!

We arrived early and accessed the beach before our 4:00 checkin. The Ocean beach was our backyard for the week we stayed. Convenient for swimming and going back and forth to get a shade break on the breezy deck. The house had what we needed and was close to shopping and restaurants. We took a day trip to Corolla and saw the sunset at Jockey’s Ridge. Great week for the family, everyone was happy!!

So close to the ocean!

Been coming to OBX for years but this is the closest to the waves I’ve been. You can lay in bed upstairs and watch the ocean and the sunrise. You can hear the waves all night very clearly. You can see the waves from every window. And just like 5 steps and you are on the beach - so nice if you have little ones who have to pee often and lots of toys and stuff to bring out. This area is great too - great restaurants and grocery stores super close. And everything was very clean - cleaner than most rentals I’ve had. And hot water in the outdoor shower! I would highly recommend!

Look no further for the perfect beach house!

This was the best location we've stayed at yet! It is so close to Food Lion, ABC Liquor, and Super Wings, and walking distance to Duck Donuts! Not a far drive from Nags Head and Manteo either, where we always go to our favorite restaurant, Tale of the Whale. This house is gorgeous! The view from the couch is so wonderful when it's too hot to drink your coffee on the font deck. The deck is shaded in the evening, and the dolphins and pelicans came by almost every evening after dinner! The hot tub was so fun for all of us and especially the kids, especially at sunset. The pictures of the deck online are slightly deceiving as you do still have to go down the dune to get to the actual beach, but it's not a bad walk at all, and it's as beachfront as you'll get in the Outer Banks! Even my 65 year old parents easily helped us carry our beach gear down and back up at the end of the day. Much less steep than our last house's dune! Our beach was SO perfect and private! There was only one day that a few groups trekked down our way from the public access, but I think it's just far enough that you mostly get the beach to yourself and maybe one or two families in the houses next to you. The waves were absolutely awesome for boogie boarding, and we loved walking first thing in the morning and finding the most gigantic perfect shells every day! Take your flashlight and a bucket and hunt for ghost crabs after it gets dark- it's thrilling! The owners said they are planning to add some renovations to the outside next, and we are hoping they add a little foot rinser at the bottom of the deck steps because by the time you get to the shower or hose and back you're already sandy again! haha There is NO beach gear, so be sure you have all of your own chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, and boogie boards! There are no basic pantry staples in the kitchen like you'll find in some houses, and I would suggest bringing some paper plates and bowls since there are just enough for your group before you have to wash. There is a nice new Keurig and a regular coffee pot (but no filters), automatic ice maker and extra ice trays were nice for drinks while we played cards around the big table every night. There is no longer a pullout couch which was listed when we booked it, so it really only sleeps 7, not 9. Thankfully we brought twin air mattresses for the kids regardless, otherwise we would've been kinda screwed! Overall it was PERFECT! Can't wait to go back!!!

Lifelong Friends Week in OBX

Location is great. Close to groceries and other things you may have forgotten. Also about midway north and south from all the activites throughout OBX. Property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Rated 4 stars as the kitchen does lack prep space. Would not hesitate to stay again.
