"Lemonade Cottage is a rare gem in the Outer Banks - a historic and renovated cottage. It has the charm of the old Outer Banks with all the updates of a modern and beautifully decorated vacation home. The booking is accurate and the home meets the highest cleanliness standards. It had all the equipment we needed for cooking and cleaning. Recommend hiring a service to set up and take down your chairs and umbrellas. We used Ocean Atlantic and were very happy with their service - it was money well spent. We will definitely book Lemonade Cottage the next time we stay in the Outer Banks."

"The property on the outside was beautiful but inside the rooms needed help. They have a pest infestation and they can’t help you until 7AM. I woke up to water bugs/roaches on the kitchen counter and multiple centipedes on the walls and shower curtains in the bathroom. There was also a large roach on the wall in the bedroom that I had to kill. On top of that different flying insects in the house. I was able to kill some of it. Thank God I was only there for two nights. No refund was offered or no kind of incentive given but an offer to move to another unit when I had less than a day left for my stay. I experienced all of this the first night up until I checked out. They need to fix this issue fast!"

It sets the tone for a relaxing getaway.One of the absolute highlights is the sun rise. Each morning it felt like a private show. Beautiful colors across the sky. It quickly becomes the favorite part of the day.The location couldn’t be better. We were just minutes away from great shopping and a fantastic selection of restaurants. Whether we wanted a quick bite or a nice dinner out, everything was conveniently close.What really makes the experience stand out is the host couple. They are incredibly genuine, attentive and helpful, quick to respond and are happy to offer recommendations.All in all, this place checks every box—clean, beautiful, convenient, and welcoming. It is a great value.You won’t be disappointed.  "

"Room was very clean. Shower did not have hot water after having maintenance come up to check it out. A little outdated but the room was clean and that’s what matters to me when I’m traveling. The front desk staff was very kind."
