“Superior house retreat was a great place to stay for our family. Location is close to hiking and Duluth, and easy to navigate. Everyone's beds were comfortable. Ping pong table was a big hit. (We brought our own paddles and balls.) Kitchen was large so easy to work in for multiple helping hands. Duluth coffee to start was very much appreciated! Sauna is large and works for a good sweat if that is your thing. Yard area was recently mowed which was a relief so as to cut down on any concerns there.……

“We had a wonderful time staying at the Amnicon lodge! Everything exceeded our expectations, and it was a great place to relax and enjoy the nature. The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property. I did not see this listed in the description, but it wasn’t really an issue for us; just good information for future guests!”

“Great location, very private and peaceful! Would recommend putting pet costs in listing so customers are not surprised. It would have also have been nice to have additional towels as 1 per person is not enough and no one wants to do laundry on vacation. Landscaping could be improved but it is the beginning of the season. We were allowed to check in early which was great as we were from around 3 hours away. Overall great property. Clean. Good experience and communication.”

“Nice old house. A little creaky but that's part of the charm! Only issues were small. No broom and tub drained slowly. I'll take that. It is in a great location for exploring, walking or biking, shopping, and seeing the Duluth and north shore sights. Loved it!”

“This home is conveniently located in Duluth. The home is clean and the beds are very comfortable! We had an issue with water volume. If someone was showering, we lost water in the kitchen. The bathtub drains extremely slowly.”
