「Alan and Linda are great hosts. The cottage is amazingly well kept. A great location for someone looking for a quiet getaway. Far enough away from real life but close enough to some fun activities. The view of the lake and a small fire in the fireplace was the relaxing experience I was looking for.」

「My wife and I along with my parents had a nice weekend getaway. Very quiet and relaxing. Used the grill to grill burgers and kitchen for morning breakfast. Bring your own KCups for coffee. Really nice getaway. Everything went really smooth. And if you like to eat out lots in the area. We ate at Majerle's Black River Grill and enjoyed it.」

「What a relaxing getaway for us who are busy raising three kids- 21,17 and 14. It’s been well over a decade since we did anything as husband and wife, without the kids. We grew up in Port Washington and savored being on Lake Michigan on two beautiful Spring Days. We took lots of walks and ate take out on the patio. With such views who needs a restaurant?? A total gem of a place, we will be back again. Thank you Mark!!」
