It the best place to stay in Konya. The owner Omar is delightful to talk too and extremely helpful in guiding on the special spots to visit. He has developed an amazing gem in heart of Maulana's City. Home away from home!

It is a cute place to stay but not ideal for families. Rooms are extremely small and cramped for space overall. Bunk bed area is more like a closet then a room. Okay breakfast.

Araf Hotel is in the heart of Konya's Mevlana district with many convinient walkable access to shopping, dining and attraction options. The hotel vibe is very Bohemian in a good way. The suite rooms are on the small side and traffic/parking is challenging. The room and hallway carpets could use a refresh. Breakfast is included. Overall a good hotel that meets the needs of a short stay in Konya while providing an interesting vibe and convinient location.

We booked the Araf hotel for two nights. When we arrived there for check-in, the receptionist told us that there was some issue with the water supply at the hotel and offered us to stay in another nearby hotel (Think Hotel) in a similar room setting. Since it was evening and was difficult to refuse the offer at that time. The receptionist took us to that hotel, Think Hotel, (just 2-3 minutes walk from the Araf hotel) and helped in check in. Surprising, the reception and the location of that Think Hotel were better than that of the Araf hotel. Rooms and toilet were clean with all amenities. Breakfast was typical Turkish and good. Hotel staff was very friendly and supportive. I recommend you to consider Think Hotel for your future stay if you are traveling to Konya.

The reception area is beautifully decorated and gives a very nice first impression. However, the room was quite small, even though we booked a larger one, not the economy size. Unfortunately, the rooms have a strong smell of cigarettes, which was very disappointing. Although there are “No Smoking” signs in the room, the cigarette odor is very noticeable. On the positive side, the location is excellent just a short walk from the Mevlana Turbesi.The owner and staff are kind and helpful, and the breakfast is decent. However, because of the unpleasant smell and the overall disappointment with the room, I definitely would not choose this hotel again.

Araf Hotel konumu itibarı ile güzeldi. Mimari olarak da güzel tasarlanmıştı. Biz suit odada kaldık çocuklar ranzada kaldılar. Ranza baya oynuyordu. Ama çocukların ayrı odada olması güzeldi. Kahvaltısı biraz daha zengin olabilirdi.

Muhteşem bir konaklama deneyimiydi! Resepsiyondan mutfak ekibine kadar herkes öylesine içten ve güler yüzlüydü ki, kendimizi adeta evimizde hissettik. Otelin her köşesinde misafirperverliğin ve özenli hizmetin izlerini görmek mümkün. Dekorasyonda şehrin simgesi olan Mevlana’nın ruhani yönüne duyulan saygı ve estetik anlayışı çok etkileyiciydi. Oda isimlerinin bile özenle ve titizlikle seçilmiş olması bu inceliğin en güzel örneklerinden. Ayrıca işletmeci Ömer Bey’in konuklarıyla birebir ilgilenmesi, bu sıcak atmosferi tamamlayan çok değerli bir dokunuştu. Emeği geçen herkese gönülden teşekkür ederiz. Tekrar görüşmek dileğiyle!

Pros - Cute little hotel , close to transport an Mevlana Museum, shops etc. Nice breakfast and nice staff, clean and quiet Cons Very expensive for such a small room. It was in fact the smallest room I have ever stayed it and the bathroom was so tiny . From one side of the bed to the other side the walking corridor was very very narrow. Great place for small people, Id reconsider if you were of average European height

Das Araf Hotel ist ein kleines authentisches Hotel für Konya. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein was aber nicht groß stört, da man ja nur zum Schlafen kommt. Die Lage ist nicht zu toppen. Alles fußläufig erreichbar. Das Frühstück ist ausgesprochen lecker mit sehr viel Auswahl. Das Persnal sehr freundlich, höflich und hilfsbereit. Sie tun wirklich alles, damit man sich wohlfühlt. Von mir uneingeschränkte Empfehlung. Würde ich immer wieder buchen.
