Feel refreshed and rejuvenated at this newly restored pool villa for up to 5 guests in the heart of Slovenian Istria.
The peaceful holiday villa is surrounded by a large garden that overlooks vineyards and olive groves. The estate is fenced so children can play in a safe environment. There is a children’s playground with a swing and a slider, and a volleyball and badminton net and court for the exclusive use of the guests. The main building has a private outdoor swimming pool (unheated) with 5 sun loungers in front of it. Guests can also enjoy al fresco dining accompanied by local wines in the pergola. The holiday house is an old traditional Istrian house which has been thoughtfully renovated to include modern elements for a comfortable stay. It has season-appropriate air-conditioning, central and underfloor heating.
The spacious living room has a warm ambiance and furnished with a large sofa, a TV, a classic wooden dining table and a modern kitchen behind the arched wall. The stone walls, beam ceiling and fireplace add to the character of the room. The kitchen is equipped with necessary appliances like a Dolcegusto coffee machine, a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a toaster, a cooker hob and a fridge with a freezer. A winding wooden staircase takes one to the upper floor.
Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The characteristic bedroom has a window for natural light and freshness. It is furnished with a wooden double bed, a traditional wardrobe, a dresser and a cane chair.
Bedroom 2: The well-kept bedroom has a double bed, a single bed and a wardrobe.
Bathroom
Bathroom 1: The bathroom is spacious and features two washbasins, a WC and a shower cubicle.
There are two service bathrooms in the house.

Location
The antique single villa is located in the quiet village of Fijeroga in Slovenian Istria which is also commonly referred to as Slovenian Provence. The location is ideal for those who love to spend their vacation close to nature and enjoy it in the company of their loved ones. Guests can either stay put in the house and enjoy the various amenities such as basketball, volleyball, swimming in the pool, dining on the terrace and more or venture out on excursions. These excursions can be undertaken on foot or by car or bicycle. The hiking and biking trails through this region pass through some mesmerizing natural gems. There are also plenty of oil and winemakers nearby from where guests can purchase local wine and oil. There are restaurants, shops and a supermarket within 10-15 minutes’ drive from the villa.
Guests can also drive to the resort town of Portorož (34 minutes) known for its spas, therapeutic treatments and sandy beaches or the old fishing town of Izola (26 minutes) for its excellent restaurants and bars besides the marina and old picturesque alleyways or the coastal town of Strunjan which is known for its variety of flora and fauna.
