This modern semi-detached chalet is located about 100 metres from the ski lift and slopes of the Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg ski area. The chalet is also an excellent starting point for beautiful hiking routes through the region and is located in the tri-border point Austria - Italy - Slovenia. Of the three bedrooms, one is a loft with two single beds that can also be pushed together. In the lovely garden with covered terrace you can enjoy the peace and quiet of this area
The Kötschach - Mauthen - Vorhegg ski area is a small but fine ski area with 6 km of slopes and 37 km of cross-country trails. Kötschach-Mauthen is located at the top of Carinthia's Gailtal valley, embedded in breathtaking mountain formations, belongs to the Nassfeld - Pressegger See tourist region and offers a good selection of restaurants and shops, various hiking and cycling tours, the Hike World with 25 themed trails and a large swimming pool (water and wellness oasis Aquarena). Other ski resorts in the region include the Nassfeld ski area with 110 kilometres of slopes, the Zettersfeld ski area at the foot of the Schleinitz in the Lienzer Dolomites in East Tyrol with 21 kilometres of slopes or the Golzentipp family ski area in Obertilliach in the eastern Tyrolean Hochpustertal with 12 kilometres of slopes. There are many activities such as hiking, walking and mountain biking. Also visit Wolayersee and Frischenkofel to experience the impressive mountains and lakes. In summer, the Waldbad Mauthen natural pool or the Pressegger See east of Hermagor offer lots of swimming fun!
