Great hotel, even better staff

The hotel is great and in a great location. The only knock I have on it, which may not matter to you, is that the parking is a little inconvenient and there is no elevator. Aside from that, loved it.

We fell in love with Slovenia and this area in particular. The drive up to the hotel was breathtaking and a little scary but the view from every vista was spectacular. The room was clean, large and bright with a balcony. We ended up having dinner there twice - the only time on our lengthy trip we did that - because the food was delicious!
They were all taken from our balcony at different times of the day and evening.

View with a hotel

The view was worth the price in itself! I got a room on the 3rd floor with a balcony and an epic view over the valley and the mountains beyond. The room was good also, nice large bed, and pretty spacious. The hotel has a rather old fashioned "communist era" look to it, but it's clean and well kept. Convenient parking once one has negotiated the curves to the top of the hill. Good food in the restaurant, and also good breakfast. The only downside I guess was the lack of an elevator, but I needed the exercise anyway. 😉

It is a very unique hotel in its own way

The hotel is located far away from Kranj town centre, on top of a small hill. The building is a bit aged that does not have even lift / elevator or air conditioning. It was quite hot during our stay, as we could not open the windows due to bugs. The front desk is staffed only at limited hours. However the mountain view is good and breakfast is adequate too.

Kényelmes szállás

Nagyon kedves csapat, nyugalmas környezet, választékos reggeli. ÁR értékarányban szerintem a legjobb választás. Megközelíthetőség kiválló az autópálya közel. Helyben és közelben remek éttermek. De bevásárlóközpont is szinte gyalog elérhető. Kilátás pazar. A nagy hőség ellenére kibírható klíma. Szerencsésebb lenne ha klimatizált szobák lennének.

Hotel med højt serviceniveau og en flot udsigt.

Et hotel med den meste fantastiske placering på toppen af bjerget. Servicen er mere end i top, venlig, hjælpsom og hele tiden opfølgende. Veltalende engelsk. Værelserne er pæne og rene. Hvis man kunne savne noget, så er det en elevator.

Complice des taxis malhonnêtes et coupe-gorges

L'hôtel a des accords avec des taxis malhonnêtes qui exigent 60 EUR pour faire les 15km de route jusqu'à l'aéroport, ne donnent pas de factures et ne prennent que l'argent cash. Tout est fait pour qu'on ne s'aperçoive du problème qu'à l'arrivée. De plus L'hôtel ment en prétendant assurer une navette pour l'aeroport. C'est un coupe-gorge qui profite de sa situation très isolée.

Accueil déplorable

Accueil déplorable par un jeune homme qu on semblait déranger . On avait réservé cet hôtel car il avait un restaurant bar mais il était fermé ce jour là ! Aucune précision sur le site …réponse à l’accueil : «  c’est comme ça «  . On a demandé s’il était possible d’acheter qq chose à boire au bar .. réponse «  non , vous n’avez qu à descendre en ville «  . Très belle vue de l’hôtel Prix injustifié compte tenu de la vétusté de l’hôtel et de l’accueil !!!
