Charming oceanfront home w private beach walkway!

"Beach Times" is located in Kure Beach and is about 1 mile from the NC Aquarium, Ft. Fisher Civil War Museum, and Kure Beach fishing pier. This is an oceanfront single family home with it's own private walkway to the beach! If you just need a couple bedrooms and enjoy the privacy and luxury feel of having your very own spaces - "Beach Times" is the house is for you!

The 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath oceanfront home is perfect for a couple or small family. Both bedrooms have their own TVs and have just recently had mattresses replaced so you'll be ready for a good nights rest! The main bedroom has a Queen bed and a private half bath. The guest bedroom has 2 Twin beds. A nice full bathroom is just off kitchen area. Sliding doors lead from the kitchen and living room to a large oceanfront deck for sunbathing or outdoor dining. The kitchen, dining area, and living room are oceanfront and have nice views of the Atlantic. Don't miss the spectacular and awe inspiring sunrises while you are here! There is a private walkover to the beach and an minimalistic outdoor shower.

Occupancy 6: Sat/Sat rental in Summer. Minimum three night stay other seasons.
Bedding Recap: 1 Queen, 2 Twins, 1 Sofa Bed
Parking: Two spaces, one of which is covered
Prohibited: Smoking, Pets
Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund.  All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).

Bryant Real Estate, established in 1952, is a professionally operated firm that is licensed in North Carolina and hired by the property owner to manage “K007– Beach Times” as a vacation rental.

Perfect location

Wish the house was a bright color not brown. Inside was very nice. Outside shower needs attention. We just used the hose to spray off. Great location for Carolina Beach and Fort Fisher.

Week at Kure beach

We arrived in the late afternoon. Parking was more than adequate. Access to the residence was very easy. The property was clean and tastefully furnished. The accommodations were exactly as advertised. This was just what I wanted, a simple modest beach house perfect for a couple or small family right on the beach. Very comfortable, we felt at home there and are planning to rebook this location

Kure is our new favorite beach. The home was perfect for the 2 of us, very nicely decorated, and perfectly clean. Bryant staff gave us all the information needed in a timely manner, and the homeowners had provided nice touches of information about the area as well.

House was as advertised. Right on the beach with its own access. Close to food and the aquarium and also Southport, Wilmington and Wrightsville beach. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to my friends and family.

Wonderful beach but "water bugs" everywhere!

The beach was amazing and absolutely beautiful! The house was very clean on arrival. After the first night we noticed the roaches "waterbugs" come out after 9pm. All over the deck and under the house! We contacted the manager and they quickly sent out the exterminator and we thought our worries were gone.. the next night they were back on the deck and some of them migrated into the house through the air vents! The last night of staying a roach "waterbug" fell on my husbands head while sleeping and he didn't sleep the rest of the night. I would have left a 5 start rating but having to deal with the nasty roaches the whole time and so it is a 1 star rating!

Lovely cottage, but….

The house was as advertised and very clean. We also loved the location and the view was perfect. The main suggestion I would make would be to update the bathrooms. The toilets were small and low to the floor. Great for children but not for someone that’s 6’2” with bad knees. The dates tub/shower combination could be swapped for a walk in shower. Maybe even ADA approved. To finish I’ll say that we had a great vacation experience. Thank you.

Beautiful, quiet little beach property

We really enjoyed staying at this beach house. The location was perfect for our family of five. There was space in the master bedroom for our pack and play and the house was easily baby proofed. Loved the close proximity to the beach when it was time for nap time or diaper changes. The town of Kure is so quiet and nice and the beach is beautiful and wide! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals.

Perfect location

We stayed here for a weekend getaway for my husband’s Birthday. 2 adults and our 2 children. The house was nice and the beach is right outside! The weather was horrible and cold but we still enjoyed it! I would love to come again and stay this summer to take full advantage of this perfect little beach house!

No Hustle and Bustle

If you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle and just want to enjoy the ocean, Kure Beach is a perfect destination. Due to Covid 19, we didn’t want to stay anywhere “busy”, and I was asked to find a “cabin by the beach”. The home at 717 Fort Fisher South fit what we were looking for to the T. It was perfect for a couple, or maybe a couple with 2 small children. Very nice, had everything we needed, and was right on the ocean with morning sunrises off the back deck that were worth waking up to. We would definitely rent this property again.

In just comparing

Kind of surprised that we had to make our own beds. There weren't even sheets on the bed. I have stayed at alot of b@b over the years and the experience here just didn't stand out.

Suited our needs for this trip..

.. But we won't be coming back to this property. We've stayed at many beach houses, so definitely understand some things just come with the territory of rentals. The owners and /or the real estate rental company have done their best to spruce up this cottage. The kitchen is stocked well, there's ample dining seating, and there's an outdoor shower head with "private" beach access, one house away from the public beach access. It was a little to busy for us, being so covid conscious. That is kind of it for positives. The house feels old, looks old, there's only so much sprucing up they can do. The outside AC unit looks like it's about to crumble at the slightest touch and cooled as such. It got so hot at night, our whole family couldn't sleep. How has that thing not been replaced yet? The beds felt like marble slabs, not even joking. The twin beds had mattress toppers on them. So, marble slabs with mattress toppers. To top it off, the house is infested with insects, mostly cockroaches, with a little bit of spiders and ants mixed in. Seriously, do some fumigation or tear it all down and start over. We only stayed for 3 nights and our time was mostly spent on the beach, thank goodness. We would lost it if we stayed longer.
