"Excellent location. Check in was crowded, initially done by a machine. Room was spacious but bathroom is tiny, and out of date."

"This hotel is fantastic! There is a wide selection of breakfast options, all with fresh ingredients, and staff are polite and friendly. I really love the design of the lobby and hallways – it feels very Zen. The guest rooms are larger than typical Japanese hotel rooms. The onsen (hot spring) is also excellent – after your bath, there are free ice cream, drinks, and snacks available. There's also self-service laundry equipment. The hotel is very close to the subway station, located in a quiet neighborhood. It's just a 10–15 minute walk to the bustling Shijo shopping district and Takashimaya department store. Overall, it was a perfect experience. Highly recommended!"

"There are two hotels that near the Kyoto station along with bu APA's hotels near buses and trains for great convenience.I enjoy the sanna it help me work out some pain and stress."

"The room is clean but very small. It is nice to have a balcony though. The welcome drink each night was nice. Laundry dryers were weak and did not dry clothes properly so I had to rush to a nearby laundromat. The hotel is really close to the station. "

"Room was excellent (although we did notice some slight mould buildup around a vent), central Kyoto easy to get to and nice and close to the staion as well, overall was a great stay. The only downside we found was the breakfast selection in the morning was somewhat limited, but if you are looking to spend a few days in Kyoto this is a great hotel to do it at!"
