This home is new construction. The views are breathtaking from high above the Mississippi River, a true one of a kind. It all starts with drive up to this secluded home in Wisconsin. You will drive on the Great River Road with fantastic views or the mighty Mississippi river. The bluffs with all the colors are a site to be seen. Stay at home and enjoy grilling or go to the Great river Road House for some of the best pizza you will ever eat. Please we do not have trash pick up, please take the trash with you when your reservation is over, thank you. We don't have Wi-Fi for the moment.

Weekend with Friends
What a wonderful place to meet friends and enjoy the views. The leaves were changing and it was a perfect fall weekend. The house was wonderful and had everything we needed. We are coming back to this place! :) 5 Star's !!

Great break away from it all
We took a break for a few days away from the hassles of normal life. The house was great for that. We spent the time relaxing, playing cards and looking at the gorgeous view. The house was spotless and everything was as advertised. The owner reached out to make sure everything was in order before the rental and made sure that we knew he was available for any issues. I highly recommend this rental.

Incredible Views
It's quite a feeling to be in the midst of the birds flying around and looking DOWN at the tops of large pine trees!! The deck was too sunny/hot to sit on during the day (no shade/umbrellas) but was perfect for sitting out as the evening sun set. The place is well equipped. Overall the place was clean however the gas grill was very dirty and required a lot of cleaning before we could use it. The frig also had dried food/spills on a few of the shelves. One small suggestion is to include a note on where to take trash as we didn't know what to do with it until we reached out to the owner who told us we had to take it to the gas station (we finally figured out where that was at). Also, there is no WiFi even tho the VRBO site says there is. The owner told us that is an issue with VRBO, not him, as he has been trying to get that updated.

amazing views
Being high on a bluff the views are amazing. The barges were interesting to watch especially at night when they used a spotlight to see where they were going. Lights on the Lansing bridge and power plant. The trains were fun to watch too. A very good host he answered us right back. The house had everything we needed. Had a fire in the pit outside 1st night and had the gas fireplace when it was very windy out. Will come back. Thanks Kathy & Bill

A Beautiful Surprise
My husband surprised me by inviting a couple college friends to spend the weekend with us. The view is spectacular here, the hiking was super fun and the pizza down the road was amazing! We had a fabulous time!!

What an amazing view!
Perfect place for 3 couples (from IA, MN, & WI) to meet and enjoy the magnificent view of the fall foliage and the mighty Mississippi River! This was our second year to come and relax on the deck, watch the eagles fly amidst beautiful scenery, and hike in the area's parks. The screened in porch on the lower level was a great place to gather in the evenings with comfortable seating, firepit, and BBQ grill. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen, lower-level family room. Great value!

Incredible view
Photos can't really capture the stunning landscape view from the front yard and deck, you have to see it to believe it. (It is probably HEAVEN for birdwatchers!) Stargazing around a campfire in the front yard also recommended. The house itself is quite nice, with lots of features we didn't even get around to using (like the built-in sound system.) Isolated from neighbors, very private.
