Cozy fireplace for chilly nights, large deck out back with California redwood hot tub for summer star gazing and even a porch swing out front overlooking the Kickapoo River for birding, all less than a mile from La Farge’s boat landing. Spend the day paddling down the river, or biking the Driftless, shopping local Amish bakeries & greenhouses, horseback riding at nearby Wildcat State Park or take in a day of superb fly fishing 10 minutes away......while enjoying country living in our charming farmhouse.

Walking distance to Organic Valley retail shop, Ewetopia woolen mill, Saturday farmers' market and the Kickapoo Valley Reserve, a 8000j acre paradise for hiking, biking, paddling, horseback riding, XC skiingh and camping. Head north a few miles to Rockton bar miles and rent a kayak for you and the kids. Let your friends camp and you can meet them on the trail tomorrow....

Wonderful spot for family get together.
Everything was wonderful. There was some issues with getting in touch with landlord through VRBO. Not the landlords fault, vrbos issue. Will definitely recommend this place to others! Disappointed the hot tub was down. Maybe next time 😀

Had great weather with great people. It was a farm house as described so you have to expect a little Japanese beatle takeover. Perfect spot to check out the stars and relax. Spent a lot of time at Wildcat Mountain.... Beautiful area!!

We liked the relaxing deck and porch at the property. The porch was great on our rainy day for the morning and evening wildlife entertainment (deer, hummingbirds and other bird species).

nice place in a wonderful area
This was a lovely place to stay for a few days. We enjoyed many of the special touches (flowers, eggs & butter). We enjoyed all the recreational opportunities in the area (kayaking, hiking). Hot tub took a long time to warm up, & we could not figure out the propane fireplace on the deck.

Authentic Country Charm
The home and outdoor spaces were perfect for us. We love nature and the sights and sounds of birds and the stillness of country air was beautiful. The house is great for two or a family and two couples. First floor boasts a bedroom and walk in shower. This is exactly what I needed with recent surgeries. Enjoy this home!

This is such a quaint place to stay with everything you need and a lot of extras. We loved our stay.
All the necessities and lots of extras were available. It was so peaceful and relaxing my granddaughter said it was exactly the kind of farm house she wants to live in after college.
