「There is a dreadful smell of raw sewage in the car park. There was a dead pigeon there when we stayed too - nobody cleaned it away for the five days of our visit. The entire lobby stinks of chlorine coming from the spa. The cleaners tried to clean our room at 8.30am, in what must be categorised as a holiday, not a business, hotel.
But far, far worse than all of this was the bed. It was basically a plank. So hard that both my wife and I could barely sleep, and I was hobbling around with back...

「We loved our stay at the chateau. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. While they do not offer room service, I was able to get coffee each morning from the front desk. Our dinner in the restaurant was delicious. We were within an hours drive of spectacular scenery and loved returning to the chateau each night.
We didn’t find restaurants in the town, but we had lunch in lovely towns during the day and had picnic dinners on the grounds of the chateau in the evening.」
