Love the house, but...

It needs to be updated and a big dose of TLC. It is spacious, beds are comfortable, everything is there that you need. Enjoyed the pool. Backyard is pretty private, nut again needs updating and tlc. Neighborhood is lovely and quiet. I would go back.

Nice size. Great garage. Pretty close to Indian Wells Tennis Garden. We did not like the binder had different information than the email with instructions. More information on the television/fireplace is needed. The bathroom needs updating. More light in the house is needed.

Just okay

Nice, safe neighborhood. Pictures aren't entirely accurate. House was decent and spacious. Carpets have some stains, as mentioned in other reviews. Pool was also kind of dirty. A/C wasn't cooling below 80 and it was 118 outside. Called property manager, they called someone out the next mornings to replace a/c filter, then it cooled fine, thankfully!

Work trip

We were here for a work trip and the location is perfect! Close to the convention site, restaurants, etc. very quiet neighborhood and comfortable. We enjoyed it!

Needs attention and better customer service.

House space and distribution was good. Also in a good location. Carpets are stained and dirty and smell throughout the house. I had to put baking soda to help with the smell. Walls are damaged, outlets are too old and no longer hold plugs, outside sand and dust buildups on furniture shows has not been cleaned in a while. Pool is older and needs to be resurfaced (peeling throughout). Also there are a bunch of rules that are NOT listed in the listing that were told at time of checkin many of which were unreasonable. If we would’ve known we wouldn’t have booked. Management company Vacasa seems to have a disconnect and care for client. Upon arrival pool was very dirty. They stated they contacted pool company and if they didn’t answer they would call someone. 3 days later no one came until the actual pool service day which the owners of the pool service stated they they were never told and would’ve gladly come and cleaned it. Shame people put in trust and hire in a management company like Vacasa and they do not do right by them and maintain the property and reap resent them well with the customer.

Buttercup Delight

This was a great place to stay for spring break. The house & location was great...quiet neighborhood, clean house, and the pool was the perfect size for my family. The only gripe I had was the electrical plugs in the house were old(er), so it would not hold our cell phone charges (it fell out constantly). I had to look for plugs in the house that held the charger in place. Other than that, it was a great place to stay!

Fruity back yard :)

Vacasa are extremely responsive and the customer service is excellent. We enjoyed our stay at this clean property. Great location and we loved hanging out in the back yard with all the fruit trees ! The pool is very nice too. We were here long enough that we could have used a vacuum cleaner. I’m sure Vacasa would have supplied us with one, but we didn’t ask. Overall, a great stay.

Mini getaway

Our experience was a great one. Our only complain was that we didn't stay for long. We will definitely be looking forward to future stays. The place was clean, spacious, and it looks just like it in the pictures. They provided towels, dishes, pans, and even detergent. Nice quiet neighborhood. After reading the reviews we were a little skeptical but we were happy overall.

Check in was nightmare. Was told all day id have check in info at 3:45. I had to call vacasa and property manager to get it. I received NO info until 4:05 which doesn’t sound like a big deal but 20 min matters when you are 90 min away from home and the neighbors are staring at you in the driveway. On a side note, I paid more in fees than renting the property?!?!? What’s up with all the extra fees???

Just ok

This property was just ok. After booking, I sent four messages to the management company that took over two weeks to be answered. By then my cancellation time was over so I had to go with this property. The house is stocked with absolutely the bare minimums in the kitchen, not a single decoration on the walls, no games or other personal items to enjoy while staying there. The slider door to outside was broken, had to call maintenance to come and try and fix, blinds were cheap and kept falling apart every time we closed/opened them. The pool and yard are fabulous though. Lemon, lime and orange trees , a nice table, BBQ, and plenty of shade for those incredibly hot days. We enjoyed our visit, but didn’t feel this properly was worth the cost.

Great comfortable house in a quiet location in La Quinta

Our family truly enjoyed staying at this house: the nice finishing and convenient layout worked out well for 3 adults and 3 kids. The pool was a nice size and we truly loved spending hours swimming in it. The kitchen has nice appliances, and there were two large sitting areas. Old Town La Quinta was a short drive away and offered excellent food choices and a lively evening scene. We overall enjoyed our stay and would love to go back in the future.

Filthy carpet, Faulty electricity and dirty dishes

I’m sorry to report that my recent stay at Buttercup delight on January 18 to 20, 2019 was a huge disappointment. We were exited to find a home close to the venue of my son’s lacrosse tournament. We arrived and immediately noticed the carpet was extremely stained and dirty. I attempted to call guest services but there was no answer. We were hungry and tired after a long drive from Northern California so we left for dinner. Upon our return I went into the bathroom and noticed grime on the back of the door, it looked like someone vomited and the mess was not completely cleaned up. With no where else to go we turned in. We were up and out early the next morning and returned early evening to get cleaned up and head to a team event. After showering we found that the bathroom outlets didn’t work, none of them in either bathroom. My husband called guest services who weren’t able to help but passed the message onto Parish the area caretaker. He called us after about a half hour and said he was across town and couldn’t come by. He suggested we look for the circuit breaker. We searched all the usual places in the house and finally found the box outside. Nothing tripped, we pushed all of them. So now we have missed our event and still no electrical outlet for hair dryer, curling iron, shaver etc... we ordered out and settled in for the night. I went to pull plates out of the cabinet for dinner only to find a dirty plate. At this point I was furious. I would not recommend this location or renting from Vacasa, the property management company who were extremely lacking in their conflict resolution process.

Nice house but needs more attention to detail.

The house is fine - plenty of room, nice pool, nice grounds. All the major appliances (stove, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher and aircon) were in good condition and all worked well. The letdown was in the fit out - the smaller appliances and kitchenware. Most of it minor like the lack of a hot water jug, a cutting board or more than one regular wine glass but also a significant problem with the TV channel access. Three golfers on a golf holiday and no golf channel and, in fact, not much access to anything other than a few local channels and "on demand" and Netflix. Minor things perhaps but a lesser standard than we expected.

Amazing home!

I really enjoyed the stay at this home.It's extremely spacious and comfortable place to take a vacation. Very accommodating as we needed a blender and they brought it to us in no time. Will defenetly stay at this home again!

It was great and very spacious!

The property was very clean and comfy. Had lots of space and communal areas. The pool was a perfect petit size. Would definitely recommend people to stay here. We took advantage of Netflix and really enjoyed our relaxing time at This beautiful Home.

Awesome property!

We recently visited for the Indian Wells tennis tournament. This was a great place! We didn’t spend much time at the house, but had a great time there. There were fruit trees in the backyard; grapefruit, lemon and lime so it was great to enjoy the fresh fruit. I would highly recommend this house for your trip to the desert!!
