The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. "We had a very relaxing stay and loved the gardens and surrounding area. The house is lovely - the bedroom separated from the house is very hot and was a little dirty but that’s partly because of the bear stone. Communication was very good leading up to the stay - a couple of minor delays with responses when at the property but overall good. We would definitely go back "

"A wonderful place to stay, peaceful and in a great position. Corinne was welcoming and very helpful. We slept better, and the pool was great in hot weather. "

"Private, quiet, unpretentious but lots of history around the property. We spent most of our time alternating between the lovely pool and the cool of the house. Big family meals and parties. Although there were 20 of us the house rarely seems full. Highly recommend."

"Badon Boutique is an excellent place to stay in St Emilion, Staff were so helpful, Parking is a real problem in this very popular tourist town but there is spacious parking albeit having to navigate beforehand through the narrow cobbled streets.There are wine shops all around you, including their own. Fabulous restaurants just meters away, including the outstanding L’Huterie Pie, just across the street. If you want to stay in St Emilion ( and you do to stroll the lanes after the tour buses have gone, stay here!!"

"Was a decent property in a nice little area, however it clearly needed repairs doing to the property. Random holes in walls, one of the wardrobe doors completly removed and the outside chairs needed replacing. Nothing that a few 100 euro couldnt fix to give this place a 5 stars. The host was friendly.ajd easily contactable. Nearest big supermarket is 1km away which is really handy as it has more or less everything."
