「We booked and paid for the property in November. We had specifically booked in Haro in order to walk around the wineries and bars in June at then of a few days in Pamplona.The appartment had been let out to someone else by the owner and we were only told when we arrived in Haro. We were given an alternative property which was 10 minutes drive away. This was not suitable for us and represented a waste of our time and effort.」

「The lovely apartment we rented for 11 days in Fuenmayor La Rioja, Spain was great. The apartment was spacious, nicely kept with all that a person could ask for. 「We landed at this hotel after our VRBO fell out (confirmed reservation from VRBO, host said they rejected as full so we had to scramble). Very clean and well appointed. Price was a bit high due to the eclipse but VRBO covered the difference so it didnt matter much to us. The one challenge is that you'll def need wifi or phone service to check in (my french service wasnt cooperating). Great location and beautiful old building. Recommended!」

Being over 60 we struggled a bit initially with the online registration process, but fortunately there was someone on hand at reception to guide us. 「Tiny village in beautiful rural setting. Village has many abondoned and derelict houses but this residence has been beautifully renovated, as have others in the village. Everything you could need is provided and it is beautifully decorated. Quiet and peaceful surroundings and a wonderful place for peace and contemplation, and to explore the region of Rioja.
