My stay at the George Residence Banana Island, Ikoyi was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment my family and I arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality and the unique blend of luxury, comfort, and impeccable service the property offered. The apartment was modern, tastefully furnished, and very clean — everything from the cozy bed to the fully equipped kitchen was designed for comfort and convenience. Albeit, the Wi-Fi was very slow and didn't have a good coverage of the whole apartment. Nevertheless, the serene atmosphere made it feel like a true home away from home. Housekeeping was provided to us timely and the security at the apartment was as expected for such a location. The apartment is situated in a very secure, peaceful neighbourhood, with easy access to great restaurants, shops, and key attractions around the Ikoyi/Lekki area. Whether you're in the city for work or leisure, George Residence is an outstanding choice. A special mention goes to Emmanuel, a member of their staff, whose hospitality and professionalism truly elevated our experience. He was always courteous, easy to reach, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my family and I had everything we needed during our stay. Emmanuel is definitely an asset to the company! I highly recommend George Residence to anyone looking for a premium stay in Lagos. I’ll definitely be returning!

When we first arrived our sheets and pillows were dirty. We requested that they all be changed and they were pretty quickly. We also let the host know that the apartment did not match the description they provided. Which was a lake view apartment with private pool. We had neither. The room also didn’t match the photos showcased online, which featured a spacious living room and dining room with space for all 6 of our guests to sit. The space given to us only sat 4ppl. The host stated the photos are general for the property and not specific to the room. I never received a response regarding why we didn’t have a lake view or private pool that we paid for. The water was cold and we when we let them know, they adjusted it but only some of our shower got hot but not all of them and throughout our stay the water went back and forth. So several of us took cold showers on multiple days. Additionally the showers are not properly lined up and water got all over the floor whenever you took a shower. The power went out constantly throughout our stay. And the walls are so thin, it was very loud. You could hear people talking outside. Lastly the beds were hard a a rock, felt like we were sleeping on the floor. On a good note, they did allow us to have a late check out for the inconveniences.

Great property and location

Overall our stay was great! There were some communication issues the day we went to check-in and we waited for two hours due to the host needing to be there to get us in because of the high security. While it was frustingn to wait, I did appreciate such great security. Once we were in the space, everything was great! It's really an excellent property. There were quite a few ants in some corners, but there was bug spray in the apartment that took care of those pesty bugs right away. Overall, aside from those couple of things, I give this property a 5/5.

Emmanuel was of great service to me and my family. He assisted with our stay in every wat possible, and was always quick to answer the phone and attend to our needs. He is a valuable employee for The George Residence.

The bed in the bedroom needs to be replaced it is as hard as concrete Shame I paid so much money to have luxury and the bed is harder then a rock Also the elevators were not working so it was inconvenient especially bringing groceries and when my ankle twists The property itself is AMAZING I’d stay here again and yes I still recommend I loved this place

Nice property. Marketed as Banana Island ' but actually on Banana Island Road in Ikoyi Complimentary breakfast delayed till midday everyday! Not fair . Most time we will have had to buy food Food quality just moderate -good packaging though! We had to leave the breakfast on the last day , despite knowing the check out was 11am , there was no breakfast till we checked out at 1130 am The only consolation are the nice staff -Emmanuel , Victor , Tinuola and Sola They can do much better .
