Royal Lahaina Bungalows & Spa

"I had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Royal Lahaina Bungalows & Spa. Highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a beautiful beach front hotel minus the large resort/casino vibes. I did a lot of research before booking to stay here and boy am I glad I did! Could not have been happier. Traveled with family and we stayed in two of the beachfront bungalows (building C) which were so comfortable, peaceful and the best views. There were always chairs available around the pools. The staff would set up an umbrella and chairs for us on the beach when we wanted. Happy hour had great drinks by the pool bar. Nightly musical entertainment was a bonus. All of the staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming."

"We had a wonderful family vacation with our two daughters & their husbands. The unit was clean, had a pretty well stocked kitchen. (surprised in Maui they don't have a rice cooker!) We loved eating our meals out on the lanai, watching the waves and beautiful sunsets. The ocean pool with the waves crashing over was beautiful and being able to walk out to surf was heaven on earth for our son-in-law. It was quiet and peaceful. Lahaina is a nice place to stay, without the crazy winds, little rain, perfect weather. It was so nice to come home to this beautiful little home in paradise each day. We used the bbq a few times too which was great. We had a couple of questions, problem with a door lock, and all was quickly answered and taken care of. We loved staying here over the hotels with tons of people. We will definitely be back and hope to stay here again and again!!"

"Wonderful rental with very close access to everything you need. Stunning views. Easy booking and good communication around checkin. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Appreciated the access to beach chairs and umbrella. There was no washer/dryer accessible in the unit, which was fine for our 3 night stay but might impact a longer visit."

"This place was perfect for me. It was exactly what I was looking for, except it exceeded all expectations. I love it when you walk away from a VRBO with a good memory and feel like you underpaid. The rate for this unit is a bargain. I really like this place and when I come back I hope will be available. Can't wait. I will be disappointed if I have to stay somewhere else. Oh and if that's not enough, the view is absolutely incredible. The beach is secluded and outstanding. The pool and hot tub. Incredible. The location is ideal."

"This property is perfect for the right family. It’s not a walk‑down‑the‑street-for-coffee or resort‑style setting, but it is a wonderfully private, spacious home with a beautiful beach just a two‑minute walk away. A rental car is essential to reach activities, restaurants, and other beaches.The beds are extremely comfortable, and the bathrooms are modern and updated. The kitchen and laundry setup are excellent. The living room furniture could use an upgrade, but it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed the space overall.We loved staying here, and as Lahaina continues to regrow, we think this home will become even more special."

"This was my first trip to Maui so I didn’t know anything about location. I choose this location based on the description and a quick review is a map of the island. Everything about the property was exactly as described. The house was well stocked and even provided some beach chairs, flippers, and toys. The location ended up being a great spot to go to other areas of the island for the tours we booked. Plenty of room for our family. Gorgeous views from both sides of the property. I would definitely stay here again."
