"The Wifi info that we were given did not work at all! We did not have WiFi the entire trip. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It might have been more comfortable to sleep on the floor. The coffee maker did not work, which we realized after several failed attempts. The TV did not work at all. We did not have any TV the entire trip. The place was completely empty, except for us. What a ripoff and scam this place is! Also, I will never use this booking site ever again. I feel betrayed and scammed."

"It’s a really run down property. Access staircase is rickety and broken with a dirty rug over it and is a trip hazard. The room configuration is strange. The runner inside the room is filthy. The best thing about the property is the caretaker (Jennifer I think?) who is superb! That said, the view is fabulous, the bed was comfortable, and having a fridge and microwave made it nice. Lots of DVDs were available, and the breakfast was adequate. "

"Hosts are really on top of it with communication (even of you aren’t). Area is wonderful. You will see warning signs from the surrounding homeowners but they are very great people if you take a second to talk with them.Everything inside and outside the house were in great condition and as listed and the hosts were very kind."

The cabin is tastefully decorated, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the bedroom windows offer a stunning 'treehouse' view. "You absolutely need to book this cozy home as soon as you can. We fell in love with it the moment we arrived. The lake view is truly stunning and Marilyn was the perfect host. It was such a relief to see that the photos accurately reflected every part of the home. Everything was spotless (a rare treat!), the kitchen was fully stocked and the neighborhood was peaceful and welcoming. My husband and I loved walking the lake trail and trying the dinner spots Marilyn recommended. We did not mind cooking breakfast each morning with the stunning lake view from the kitchen. It was the perfect getaway for relaxing, unwinding and reconnecting with nature.We loved it so much that we already booked a return trip for the summer. "Cabin was very nice and clean. The host didn’t respond to my text until 23 hours later and apologized. He didn’t call me back after leaving a voice message. Our issue was we didn’t feel safe and secure in there. First, the entry door was very flimsy along with the broken knob. It had a glass window on the top part of it that was already cracked. So, literally that window can just be broken and reached in to open the padlock very easily. There was no curtain or any type of cover for that glass window on the door so no privacy during the night. The door always kept getting jammed from the inside to open the door. The same for the window by kitchen sink no cover or curtain. You can’t walk into the kitchen at night because any peeping Tom can look inside. The screen door didn’t even lock from the inside. So, we left after one night even though we paid for a 2 night stay."
