The unit is clean and comfortable. The kitchenette includes 2 burners for simple meals, a small refrigerator, microwave, pots and pans, cooking utensils, corkscrew, etc. My husband and I had our 9 year old daughter with us who slept on the sofa. Perfect for a couple, single person, or small family. There is a ski closet right outside the door to keep skis in and a convenient shuttle to Squaw that takes just a few minutes drive to get there. (We never had to wait for the shuttle...it was always there when we got there....It runs a loop and I think is available every 10-15 minutes.) Our daughter enjoyed the heated pool and we liked the 4 hot tubs. We also swam in the pool and it was a comfortable temp. 2 hot tubs are very close to the unit, maybe 20 feet away. The pool and 2 other hot tubs are a short walk near the lobby. I think the shuttle runs to Squaw til 5:30 so if you wanted to shuttle to the Squaw Village for dinner you could and walk back. We didn't try it though as we ended up wanting to eat in, but we considered doing so and saw others doing so from the complex. The walk seems well lit, but a flashlight might be handy. There is light cleaning service daily (like a hotel) with fresh towels, tidy up of the rooms, etc. There is a door separating the bedroom and the bathroom hallway and a door separating the bedroom from the front room, if that privacy is important to you. I met another mom in the complex who mentioned when she has stayed at a similiar complex nearby (not OVI), that there was a similar layout but the bedroom and front room did not separate with a door (so not as private). But this unit and those at OVI, do have doors. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again.
